a/n: sorry for taking so long to post I've been super busy with school :( enjoy this chapter!
I was shocked to say the least, Hirami had given the impression that she was a sweet innocent girl, but I stand corrected. "What are you doing?!" I yelled trying to get out of her grip but somehow she was way too strong.
"Well if you aren't going to be mine, I'll make you mine," she smiled innocently, my face twisted into disgust.
"What is wrong with you!! I'm not some pet!" I yelled finally freeing my hands from her grip, I rubbed my wrists.
"I'll make you fall for me, one way or the other," She smiled and turned around, walking the way I had just come from. I looked back at her and she was already gone. That was kinda cliche not gonna lie, but what can you do. I know dirty tricks like the back of my hand, for all kinds of situations, but I surprisingly know very few in the "getting someone to fall for you'' section. I kept walking to the shoe lockers and swiftly opened my locker and grabbed my shoes, the sooner I got home the better. I also really wanted to play that video game to be honest, I made a few friends but candy queen was on a different level in the game than them. I started walking home with my earbuds in my ears listening to a playlist a friend made for me. I got home and unlocked the door. I walked in and looked around to see if my parents were home, it was completely quiet so I guess not. I took off my shoes and walked into the kitchen, my stomach was begging for food, so I made some quick instant ramen and ran to my room to see if candy queen was online.
As my character loaded in someone messaged me and I opened up the chat, it was candy queen.
candy_qu33n: you leveled up a lot, do you wanna fight some bosses?
candy_qu33n: i can join your world or you can join mine, idc
y/u: do you still get the same amount of xp either way?
candy_qu33n: i think the owner of the world gets more so i'll join u, one sec.
The avatar loaded into my world and it was loaded with armor, weapons, and of course they were all SS tier. I started moving my avatar to a boss I hadn't been able to beat and candy queen completely one shotted it- I guess the bosses in my world were lower than hers but still, it was super impressive.

Now that I wasn't playing the video game, I would have time to think. I felt bad for saying I had to go when I didn't but I needed some time to myself. What was I going to do about Hirami? I was on the council, but it was still going to be annoying, if it ever gets too bad I'll just report it as harassment. But that solution isn't as satisfying. I wanna bring her down with my own hands. And that's when it hit me.
-next morning-
I walked to school feeling strangely refreshed despite the whole Hirami situation, because of course today was when the gambling duos started. My plan for taking down Hirami was going to be put into action soon, but it all depended on Hirami acting irrationally. I walked into class, this was the one of the two classes I had to be in today, but I was always naturally good at math, I hardly had to put in any effort. The class went by like a breeze, but Ryota staring at Yumeko and lowkey drooling was not the highlight of my day. Yumeko was clearly not interested, anyone but Ryota could tell. Yumeko definitely had the hots for Mary. Mary was really pretty, just not really my type. Besides, I already had feelings for someone. The class was dismissed and we had a free period, so everyone was getting ready to gamble. I could feel Hirami piercing my soul. Me, Yumeko, Mary, and Ryota went to the dining hall. Ryota was paired with someone from our class, and Yumeko and Mary were together. Me and Runa planned to meet at the dining hall so I was looking around for the bright orange hoodie, and then I saw her wave at me.
I rushed over to Runa, but no one had asked to gamble with us yet sadly so we just sat down and played video games. It took no more than three minutes for Hirami to slide next to me.
"U/n would you like to play some blackjack with me?" Hirami cooed in my ear while leaning quite close to my face, this was the chance I had been waiting for.
"Just the two of us? What happened to this pair's tournament?" I asked, making a confused puppy face.
"This will be separate, are you in or not?"
"Of course I'm in," Hirami stood up and took my hand leading me to an empty table. Runa followed behind wanting to witness this.
"Just normal blackjack, but if I win, you need to date me. If I lose I'll stop. Fair?"
Runa's eyes widened the tiniest bit, but she was confident in my gambling skills so she sat quietly.
"Hmmm how about if you lose you go into debt and become the student council's house pet?" I smirked coldly staring into her eyes.
"Works for me, I'm not planning on losing," She grinned back, and we started playing.
