Kirari's pov
This girl, she looks like she could beat one of the student council? Is she crazy? This will be exciting. "Do I get to choose the person I gamble with or will you?" y/n asks me boredly. "You can choose, you won't win against anyone anyway." I tell her, smirking. "You seem quite sure of yourself. Did you forget I just beat Runa like half-an hour ago?" she says sitting down on a random chair in the hall. "True, but I wasn't playing at my best since I thought you were a beginner nyahahaha." Runa laughed waltzing back into the council room. "Hm ok I'll gamble with itsuki in the lunchroom at tomorrow's recess if you don't mind, and I'd like to play the same game I played with runa, just with her. She created the game right?" y/n says looking at her nintendo switch. "Yes. I will let her know. You can leave now." I say in my normal monotone voice. "Mk, just don't forget." y/n says walking off facing her back towards me. No respect huh? Maybe I'll have to gamble with this girl sometime.
Your pov
This student council president seemed sure that I would lose, but she probably didn't know I knew something. Itsuki was going to cheat, how do I know this you may ask? When Itsuki opened her bag to get us some cards, I saw there were special pockets for the cards, and when we started playing, around two minutes into the game, something faded off of some of the cards, so if she has memorized the cards, she can win. But little does she know, that I memorized them that last second I got to see the cards turned over. I started turning over the cards with the mark that faded off, and tried to remember everything, and to my luck I did. Assuming the cards are more or less the same, I can win.
Time for more boring class. Fun. I walk into the classroom, and Ryota is all over Yumeko. It's obvious he likes her, everyone except Yumeko herself can tell. Hirami notices me the second she looks up from her phone and rushes over. "I never got to ask for your number, could I get it?" she asks me, looking nervous. "Sure give me your phone." I extend my hand and she drops her phone into my hand. I go into the contacts app and put in my number. "Here." I hand her the phone and go back to my game. "Y/n!" Yumeko shouts in her usual seductive voice. "Yeah?" I ask, lifting my head. "You haven't gotten an official seat! Take this one!" Yumeko pointed at the seat next to her. "Ok. I'll sit there." "Yay! That's amazing!" Ryota gave me a small glare for taking Yumeko's attention. Whatever, he's not worth my time or her's. I rolled my eyes at him.
School is over, finally I get to go flop down on my bed. I walk to my house pocketing my switch, my parents yell at me for using it while walking. I got to the door and used my key to get in. My mom was baking in the kitchen, and heard me open the door. "Sweetie! Your back! How was school?" she chirped from the kitchen
"I'm guessing dad suggested the school?"
"Yeah, he went there! He told me how amazing it is!"
"Is he home yet?"
"No but he'll be back in an hour."
"K, I'll be in my room doing homework."
"Did you get much?"
"Yeah, loads."
"Ok! I'll make sure not to bother you until you tell me you're done!"
I walked up the stairs. That was a half-lie, I had homework and I'm gonna start on it, but I only had some math. I just wanted extra time to play video games. I flopped down in my spinny desk chair thingy and started on the math. I finished after 10 minutes, it's this easy? I got out of my chair and grabbed my switch. I flopped down onto my bed, and continued playing that new game. Ooh! It's an online game! You play with people close to you, for me in y/c or y/cy. I teleported into a realm and saw someone's avatar. Their avatar had straight platinum blonde hair falling beneath their shoulders. They were doing a task, and I decided to add them in the game. They accepted my request and I started chatting with them.
y/u: "Hello! I'm new to this game! Are you as well, or have you been playing for a while?"
candy_qu33n: "I started last month but this game is pretty easy."
y/u: "could you show me the ropes?"
candy_qu33n: "sure, for the tasks, you get them on ur map as notifications, and each task rewards you something. The goal of the game is to beat all the monsters or whatever, and restore the cloud castle, and make the kingdom happy again."
y/u:"Anything else I should know?"
candy_qu33n: "Well try and do tasks before u fight the monsters, since tasks give you hearts and stuff."
y/u: "Thank you! Do you by any chance live in y/c?"
candy_qu33n: "yeah I do actually."
y/u: "that's so cool! Me too!"
candy_qu33n: "Well why else would you be asking"
y/u: "true"
candy_qu33n: "I gtg bye, maybe we can play tmrw."
y/u: "k, bye!"
That was fun! I'll start some quests and finish some tasks to get some heart bonuses! I ended up playing for an hour, getting around 7,000 hearts, pretty good. My door slowly opens. "How was school?" my dad asked walking into the room and sitting on my bed. "Nice choice." I told him, glaring at him.
"Oh come on. Did you have fun?"
"I gambled twice, if that's what you're asking."
"With who? Someone important?"
"Eh I guess. A girl on the student council."
"So you lost?"
"What makes you think that?"
"She was on the student counci- wait you won?!"
"Uh yeah."
"That's amazing!"
"Uh why?"
"Because they are the leaders of the gambling, and hold the most power."
"Cool I guess."
"I used to be president."
"Really?!"
"Why do you seem surprised? Where do you think I learned gambling, and got rich?"
"True. I have another gamble tomorrow with a council member, if I win I get on the council."
"Well good luck."
"Thanks."
My dad can be really blunt at times, like right now. I got up and shoo my dad out my door, and walk to my closet. I get my comfiest sweatpants and t-shirt, and walk downstairs for some early dinner. All I do is eat and play video games at home. Other than dumb homework of course. My mom is preparing some f/f, probably to celebrate me going to a new school. I don't care what it's for, it's always yummy anyways. She finishes preparing it and I sit down at the dinner table. She hands me it and I finish three portions of it, and then I go back upstairs to watch some anime.
