52. WAYS OF COMPENSATION

Roaming around the castles and gardening in Venice, they both just realised how wonderful it was to stay close to each other.

It was different for both of them. When they just ran from one meeting to another here while running behind on tourist spots to another was very different for them. She was smiling wide and that made him happy.

Abir kept moving cautiously behind Mishti as he checked whether anyone was eyeing his wife with different kinds of thoughts. She has become too adamant and stubborn. No, way he could hate that about her. He loved every atom in her and loved to see her spoiled in the way he wanted her to be.

"Sweetness, I think we could go to Italy." She chuckled, calling him out as she silently pulled his phone from his hand.

"I'm happy here. I was just monitoring Ryan." He said, looping his hands around her nape and pulling her to his safety.

"I think next time you should go on a honeymoon with Ryan."

He shook his head and started biting her collarbone. She ran free hand on his back while the other hand was protecting Fluffy from swimming in the water.

"Oh! Where are your promises? Sweetheart." He snuggled closer as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"Promises are meant to be broken."

For a few minutes they went into deep silence. It looked like both of them were disturbed. Mishti didn't take that long to figure out what was bothering. She had to take the lead and ask him to make sure about her assumptions to be right.

"You are worried about the Rebatery company right?" He let out a long breath and she got all her answers. "Call Ryan and ask him to take care. Ask them to check on their allied companies as well."

"I did. But I don't like terminating the contract I signed with them." Not just that but he was also hiding something.

"Drugs?" That came out soft from her lips.

He sighed, "Well, in the call registers record..... There is a whole record of me calling the Chairman of Rebatery...... And asking for drugs to be delivered for my address."

"That's all." She took it pretty easy and casual making him go confused.

"Seriously? They could play and threaten me with that whole shit."

She rolled her eyes, "Only if you are still into those things."

"I am" came strongly.

"I'll take care of it. Now, concentrate on what we came for."

Abir chuckled at our words. Sometimes a person only needs, 'I will take care' from someone even if they believe none can help them out. He was lucky enough to hear that from him.

Fluffy had a cold war with Abir while his attention was on Mishti who was busy on a call with Ketki. The little pet tried to gain his attention by pulling stunt near his leg and he was least bothered.

"If you can't stay quiet then I don't mind throwing you into the water." He roared but then Fluffy was still laughing against his harsh voice making him laugh along.

"Abir, don't scare her." Mishti yelled from the other side while still she was busy with Ketki.

"You really don't know who is scaring who, Sweetheart." He lazily dragged, carrying Fluffy in his arms.

Mishti attended Ketki's call when the sun was about to set and now they were watching the moon shine bright while still their call didn't come to an end.

"Ketki, can you please end the call and give me some time with my wife." Abir losing his patience came behind Mishti and screamed through her phone. He didn't fail to hear Ketki's laugh from the other side.
