The need to pleasure her, care for her, and be with her were far too strong and overpowering even for a powerful man like him. She held him under her control, and it was her heart controlling his mind and body through his heart.

He opened his eyes to find her looking at him through her long, thick lashes like she was satiated, taken care of, and the sly smile of hers made him feel accomplished like he just won the world.

The next morning, she rolled in bed, smiling when his scent tickled her nostrils. Her eyes flew open, and she panicked. "Shit."

Mishti was supposed to be at work, and when she saw the sun high in the sky, she knew it had to be way past her wake-up time. She was in the hotel room while she wanted to be in the head office of Harper Technologies.

"Abir," she called out, and there was no response. She was still at his place, and he was nowhere around. She looked for her clothes and saw the bright yellow Post-it stuck on her cell phone, making her smile.

She reached for the small note.

Hey, Sweetheart!

How could you really expect me to not find out your witchy jobs? So, you did everything to clear the database forgetting I'm the boss. Great!

I will end my shift early and be back soon. Don't go anywhere. There is fresh fruit and milk in the fridge. I will bring lunch.

Rather me than you!

She smiled at the note.

Mishti had no idea about the kitchen being inside that room. It looked compact but was really huge. She felt like staying inside the cave.

It wasn't until three in the morning that they finally got into bed. Admiring the views and cherishing every single second, they both forgot what's sleep.

It was a wild night, and she knew she could not wake up and go to work, so she tried her best to stay awake but at one point she slept off. She was a light sleeper, and she could not figure out how he managed to leave her alone in bed.

Mishti looked at her phone and realized it was almost noon, and Abir would wrap up his work in an hour. This hotel was so close to the office that he could walk to work but Abir being Abir went in his car with Fluffy to the office. She found his t-shirt on the floor and slipped it on before wandering to the small fridge set to one side of the living area of the small suite.

She made herself coffee with the items Abir had set on the counter and went straight to take a bath. After washing away the soreness and relieving the tightness in the muscles with the warm water, she stepped out of the large bathroom, which seemed bigger than the living space of her previous apartment. She missed that house as well. Most importantly missed Adalyn who used to come late in the night to her house and finish her dinner.

Her hands moved to the golden dress, she wore on their date but then she stopped. She needed a break and felt able to control herself . She sensed her legs going numb, at times her behind knees nerves crumbled and if that was because of some other reason, she would have cursed in her witchy style. But this impact on her body was something special to her.

Mishti wanted to go to the office, she wasn't able to go because the Warlock was smart enough to lock her inside the room. She did enjoy admiring nature but also felt bored staying alone. She called her Foster mom and pretended like they were still in Venice as she didn't feel the need to simply scare her mom. The call didn't last long and Abir wasn't still back.

She called Abir but he didn't lift her call and she dialed the office reception number. From the receptionist she came to know that he was attending a conference meeting with the legal delegate.
