Chapter 12: New Strength

Ryuko had landed hardly on the ground. Dropping to one knee. Standing up she looked up at the area that was before her eyes. She saw a chain. A VERY BIG Chain. It looked to be made of stone. It was held by three massive hands. One hand on either side of the chain link and one hand above the two of them on the chain link above it. Her eyes followed the hands back to a large statue of a person. They had demonic language on there bodies.

Ryuko walked forward looking up at the chain. It was like there was no end to it. She was completely unware that she stepped onto a pressure pad of some kind. She looked down. Something was moving, she took out Senketsu to be ready for a fight.

Ryuko then noticed the three statues started to glow an orange colour. She then looked up to see the chain moved slightly upward till it came to a stop. The hands moved and held them up like a peace sign of some sort.

???: BY THE ORDER OF SATAN! WE ARE THE THREE JUDGES! STATE YOUR NAME!

Ryuko was silent, amazed at the statue that was talking to her. She recalled when Boruta said, that the underworld was part of Hell, where most dead demons go if their body was still intact. However if they were vaporised by something, then their body would not go to Hell. Ryuko shook her head and answered.

Ryuko: Ryuko Lucifer.

There was a brief silence, till the statue spoke.

???: KING MARDAGTH SEES VENGEANCE!.......QUEEN LEVA HAS FOUND YOU WORTHY! IT FALLS TO ME KING VANAMUR TO ME THE FINAL DESCISON!

Again there was a brief silence, till the state spoke once again.

King Vanamur: THE RELAM OF THE DEAD IS NOT READY FOR YOU! BEYOND THAT DOOR, AWAITS YOUR DESTINY!

Ryuko turned around to face a very large door. There were markings on the door that looked to depict a story of some kind. There were hands on the door that looked to be holding the door closed. The hands slowly opened up, and moved away from the middle of the door.

The door pushed itself, forward to open it. Ryuko kept Senketsu at her side. She walked in the door till was fully past it. The door slowly closed behind in, trials of dust falling from the ceiling given how old the door was. 

In front of the Lucifer, was a dimly lit hallway. It had torches on either side of the hallway. Ryuko looked to her side, there was what looked even more markings on the walls that depict a story. She saw what looked to be Thanatos who looked to be fighting a group of warriors. She knew they Angels, given how they had feathered wings on their backs.

The next one showed Thanatos again, but there was another person, this person Ryuko had not a clue who this was, but he held his hands out as if he was giving something to Thanatos. She then saw something in the middle. It was the claws Thanatos used against her.

???: The Soul Claws.

Ryuko turned around, summoning Senketsu and swinging behind her to who spoke behind her to attack....the air.

???: You are a strange one aren't you?

The voice was behind her again, she turned around see nothing. 

Ryuko: Playing games with me again Thanatos?

???: Ah...so you know that child, that was once my brother.

 Brother?

???: Turn around Lucifer. I will not disappear.

Ryuko turned around, she was facing what looked to be a sprit, like that soul she took the golden coin from. But he looked different. He had an actual face, he also had hair and to be fair he face would scream out to some girls. But Y/N would beat him anytime.
