It's been almost nine years since the defeat of Aizen Mephestio. Y/N, Ryuko and the others have lived in a village high in the mountains, where Demons and humans co-exist. However, things are about to take a dramatic turn.
An unknown person, attacks...
As the sun rose up to start a new day, Y/N was walking ahead of Akame and Erza through the forest heading towards the Demon Temple, however before they headed there they would have to stop by a village first before they headed towards the Land of the Dead Forest.
Y/N was so focused on getting Saya back from Azrael. He could believe he had fallen for such a trick, he could have sensed her energy to know if it was Erza or not.
But he was so caught up by the fact he had hidden the truth from his daughter. The truth of how he lied to his daughter about Satsuki dying when she gave birth to her. He did it to protect her from going out there and trying to find her. His fear of what Azrael would do to his daughter was haunting him. Would have been anything he could have done?
You should have told her the truth.
Y/N looked back at Erza and Akame
Y/N: Did you say something?
Erza and Akame looked at Y/N with confusion, looking at each other, before they answered back
Erza: Uh...No. We didn't say anything.
His left eyebrow went upward. Has he lost his mind with reality?
Eventually they made it up to what looked to be a settlement. A gate of some kind, the gate was huge in height and it looked like it was continuing all around the forest. Must be to keep any outsiders. In which case must be them.
However when they got up closer to the gate, they could see it had been torn wide open. There were some people, and they could sense some demons as well, however they could hear screaming and cries of agony from inside the village. The demons quickly took out their swords, Y/N was the first to run through the village gate. Erza and Akame calling him out before following him into the village.
While Erza and Akame were chasing down Y/N they could see all the dead bodies of humans all cut in half, heads decapitated and showing all their guts all over the ground and the buildings. By they soon stopped looking around for Y/N and after looped a corner, they looked around the area and they lost him.
Erza: Y/N!
Akame looked around the area, there to her right she saw a group of dead bodies on the ground, there arms and legs missing and there guts been disembowelled into pieces.
Akame: What could have done this?
Erza said nothing but walked into a nearby home, she gasped seeing even more dead bodies. Back then, she wasn't this comfortable around seeing all these dead bodies. She looked down seeing a pool of blood, she dropped to one knee looking at the pool of blood, she looked up the trail to see lead up the wall and up to the ceiling. She looked up the ceiling, to see glowing red eyes staring at her.
Akame was still looking around the bodies outside, seeing if she could find a clue or anything that would help of what had happened here, perhaps to know if Saya was here. However that was all cut short when she heard a loud bang behind her.
She turned to see Erza leaping out of the corner where they were, her Benzisakura in her hand, she had a faint cut on the side of face showing blood, before it healed itself.
Akame was about to ask what was wrong, but she didn't need to ask when the attacker showed itself. The creature was very tall and it had white skin, golden eyes, but what threw her off was it had bunny ears, a small tail and long claws it had red stripes all over it's body.
