Chapter 16: Sisters reunited.

After Satsuki had left Medusa and Hidan, followed by punching a tree trunk a few times, grieving  over her daughter.

Medusa asked her to go over to a Demon Temple that wasn't too far from her camps location. She was glad, anything to get away from that vulgar of demon Hidan.

The demoness made it towards the temple, it looked old and in ruin. It must have been here for years. It looked very similar to their hideout. Satsuki the two statues that were on either side of the very large temple. The one on the left had lost it's head and it's left arm. The right side statue had lost it's hand, Satsuki looked down  to see the missing had, or what was left of it was just ahead of her.

Suddenly she sensed an tremendous amount of demon energy coming from inside the temple, looking up she saw a purple colour that was behind the large doors, she got out her sword and held it with two hands, making her blade glow.

She walked up the steps and up towards the door, she carefully opened the deteriorating wooden door just enough for her to squeeze through, there she could see a circular archway that was showing a very bright purple circle. Satsuki just stood there, watching as a figure soon stepped out of the portal.

Satsuki eyes widened...the person who stepped out that portal.

It was Ryuko.

Ryuko looked around to the area she had stepped in, as she looked around that was when she noticed Satsuki standing in front of her. The newly crowned Soul Queen was taken back who was in front of her.

Ryuko: Satsuki...

Satsuki was silent. Y/N said she was dead. Was he lying to her as well? Was he trying to hurt her feelings? 

Ryuko: Your still alive. Such a waste.

Still alive? Satsuki was alive the whole time, she just....couldn't see Saya. Satsuki felt hurt from what Ryuko had said to her, but she felt something else. Jealousy. When Y/N had said that Ryuko had been doing a better job of been a mother then she was annoyed her.

Ryuko on the other hand, had a few questions. Why was Satsuki here? Y/N had searching for her for months till he gave up. Ryuko remembered her husbands pain and distraught when she disappeared. And the fact she has to lie to her niece hurt her on the inside.

Ryuko walked down from the steps and was soon in front of Satsuki, who had an angry look on her face to Ryuko.

Satsuki: You've been taking care of my daughter?

Ryuko scoffed before she went into a big laugh, laughing up to the ceiling of the temple. Eventually she stopped before she cleared a tear of her eye. Satsuki didn't find it funny by the fact she was laughing.

Ryuko: Y-your daughter?! Last I recall....You weren't there for most of her life. I was. So....that makes me her mother. And not you.

Satsuki's eyes narrowed, putting her hand on her swords handle ready to take it out, however before she even noticed. Ryuko's hand was on her hands that was going for her sword. Ryuko smirking at her.

Ryuko: I really don't want to waste my time with you....so tell me. Where is Y/N? 

Satsuki smirked back at her.

Satsuki: Why should I? Because you were the first one to pounce on him?

Ryuko: You know he was mine from the beginning. You had to step in and make things more complicated.

Satsuki: He came to me. And you didn't stop him.

Ryuko said nothing, she took her hand off her sisters and walked to the outside of the temple, until she stopped.
