Chapter 13: Ryuko vs Thanatos Round 2

After Ryuko had defeated the Cerberus with her new power she had drank from the fountain. The Cerberus had given her a rough beating, but she came out as the victor. Courtesy of her using her Blood Bomb from inside herself and throwing herself into the Cerberus' mouth and blowing it up from in the inside.

Thankfully her, healing was helping her heal, however she was going straight into another fight.  Against the Soul King himself, Thanatos. There previous battle, Ryuko wasn't strong enough to defeat him. This time....things will be different. 

She would make sure of it! She had a family waiting for her in the Mortal Realm. Especially Y/N. 

Senketsu: Ryuko...

Ryuko:.....

Senketsu: Ryuko? Is something wrong?

Ryuko: That spirit guy. Koldora?

Senketsu: Koludor, I think it was.

Ryuko: Whatever...didn't he seemed off?

Senketsu: In what way?

Ryuko: It was like he wanted revenge for what Thanatos did to him.

Senketsu: What are you thinking?

Ryuko: I....I'm not sure....maybe he's-

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Ryuko's thoughts were interupted when a laugh echoed around the halls she was walling, she looked around. Seeing if anyone was around her.

Thanatos: So you've defeated my pet Cerberus. How annoying. 

Ryuko remained quiet. Her eyes looking around for anything to shoot out at her. She was on edge, her hand on Senketsu. Thanatos' voice echoed as he spoke.

Ryuko: Yeah. I killed your pet. So are we gonna do this? Or are you gonna keep hiding like a coward?

Thanatos: So eager to die....very well then Lucifer. The torches will light your way.......to death.

The voice vanished from Ryuko's ears. However the torches that were a lit on the hallway she was on was now blowing towards a direction in front of her. Ryuko narrowed her eyes and she walked onwards, following the torches that would lead her to Thanatos.

After through a series of left and right's. Ryuko had made to another very large door. Again this door had the exact same design as the others she had gone through. Ryuko put her hand on the door, till she hesitated. She felt a chill going up the back of her spine. As if something was telling her not to go in.

The Lucifer shook her head and took a step back, leaning her body back. She bent her knees slightly and gave the door a good kick, smashing the lock open. She had Senketsu at the ready. She scanned the room, there was nobody in the room. She tried sensing out where Thanatos was hiding. She couldn't sense him anywhere.

Ryuko walked into the center of the room, in the floor was a seal marking of what looked to be the mark of the Soul King.

Thantos: So you found my Throne room, but I'm not there, where a King should be residing.
