"Aagggh!" Arizona screamed, bolting awake as she looked around a normal looking living room with different colored eyes looking back at her.

"Settle down partner." Oklahoma put her hands on the super-dreadnought's frightened shoulders, her blue eyes gleaming brightly, knowing Arizona didn't know what was going on.

"Okie, Cali, West, Utah? What are you all doing here...?" Arizona said dreadfully, looking around the small group. "I'm supposed to be sunk…"

"We all are, or something like it." West Virginia grunted as she was leaning against the wall to the far left.

"Look, I know this might sound strange..." Utah, the oldest of the ship-girls spoke up and pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose concerningly. "But the last thing you all remember is sinking right? But Pearl Harbor is shallow enough, maybe this is like Purgatory or something."

"All I remember is Zona trying to warn Me and West about the torpedoes and then I woke up here." Oklahoma spoke softly, looking over at West Virginia who nodded back and held her ribs tenderly.

"So you too, Utah?" Arizona was surprised to ask as the older dreadnought was on the other side of the island, but the older woman just nodded.

Suddenly California stood up, straight-faced, tears pouring from her light blue eyes.

"What's wrong Cali, you're making me nervous over here." Arizona asked cautiously, having never seen the laid-back girl look so serious.

"If what Utah says is true, and we really did sink... I just realized all of our sister's are alone…" Like a massive wave from the ocean, every ship-girl's eyes became wet as they began to think about their sisters worrying about them.

...

For the next couple of days the ship-girls explored their new surroundings as they instantly realized they couldn't open the doors or windows to the outside world.

It was constantly daylight out as it soon became impossible to know what time or day. The kitchen was stocked with food as everytime they used something and closed the door as it reappeared when it was opened again.

The only hallway each of the girls had their own room as it was nothing more than a bed and a side table. There was a bathroom and a shower as there was no radio, no mirrors, in fact there was nothing to do either as boredom began to set in early.

Sometimes they would lose patience and fight with each other as they would wake up and be completely healed.

This continued for months until one day…

"Hurry up Cali I gotta use the bathroom!" One of the most troubling things was the only bathroom had to be shared as Oklahoma danced around outside the door.

"Hold your horses!" California shook her head slowly and reached blindly for the toilet paper.

"That's weird…" The blonde felt nothing but air in her hand.

Cali looked over this time and reached out again as her hand passed through the toilet paper like it was nothing.

The blonde-haired girl's eyes widened in surprise, looking at her hand becoming ghost-like.

"Uhhhh Okie, I think something's wrong." Panic began to set in as California started to walk to the door and grab the door knob to no avail.

"How hard can it be? Ya' gotta wipe front to back, now hurry up and let me in before I pee myself." Oklahoma complained loudly as California continued to reach for the door knob.

"Okie something's really wrong..." California lifted her hands as they began to vanish along with her forearms, looking down, her feet as well as she just looked at the door. "I'm disappearing!"
