Ireland. 1918.

"Come on, where are you?"

I look on the horizon cautiously as a hand lifts up in the distance.

"Utah!" I grin widely, waving back as the ship-girl seems to be winded, it's strange, but she's only a few years older than us.

"Hey Okie." She sails up to me and my sister, sighing deeply.

"I forgot how unmerciful the sea can be sometimes..." The older girl smiles brightly as I can see the Atlantic has taken its toll on her, it's been 18 days.

"They gave us a nice place to stay." I beam happily, taking Utah's things as the brown-haired girl looks over at my sister with a kind of sparkle behind her glasses.

"Nevada!" My sister turns her nose up at her, sneering.

"Took you long enough." Neveda crosses her arms just under her breast like always, and walks off as me and Utah catch up.

"It's nice here, but boring! There's nuthin' to do here!" I complain loudly as I happen to glance over at Utah, still talking to the slightly older dreadnought.

She's not even listening to me now, in fact, her eyes are fixed on...

"My sister...?"

I match Utah's gaze and she's looking at my sister's stern, swinging slightly ahead of us as I realize I've stopped talking.

"I'm sorry what were you saying Okie?" I quickly look up into her soft brown eyes as she just smiles back at me.

"Y-Yeah, we're almost there, it's good to see ya' again Utah." I blush without thinking.

Soon all three of us are standing in front of our temporary quarters.

"Okie, will you go get sumthin' special for dinner?" My sister looks at me as she seems nicer than normal.

"But we have plenty of food in the cottage!?" I exclaim as my sister's hands meet her hips.

"But Utah jus' got here, don't ya' think it'd be nice if she had sumthin' special for dinner?" I'm actually kind of stunned as I find myself nodding and agreeing.

"Okie Dokie, I'll get sumthin' from town real quick then. Utah, please make yourself at home..." I look over at my sister still looking obnoxious, I smile back at Utah with closed eyes. "...And don't mind this soggy-saddle."

I figure with the time I'm gone maybe Nevada will warm up to Utah a bit.

After a short walk my nose catches the scent of fresh soup and bread in the air. It doesn't take much to bargain with the locals as I am suddenly loaded with potato soup and bread, as much as I can carry. I stroll home proudly as I've literally cut my time to mere minutes.

"What if...."

I smirk wildly to myself as I'm standing in front of the cottage again.

"This is going to be good Hehehehe!"

I set everything down quietly, giggling at the thought of how I'm going to scare Nevada and Utah. I open the front door with the silence of a cat as I can see a crack of light, shining against the hallway wall from the kitchen door. I sneak up to the crack in the door, smiling as I look in curiously.

"I'm gonna scare em' good...."

I'm ready to bust open the door as I hear a klaxon cry out feebly.

"Utah!" I flinch back suddenly at the sound, but I'm slowly drawn back as I can see my sister, panting heavily.

Looking through the crack, I see Nevada sitting in Utah's lap as my sister is making strange noises and faces with Utah's face buried in her neck.
