Medical barracks.

Morning.

A clock alarm rang out as a hand slapped the top of it, silencing it.

The small barracks came to life with the sound of rustling bunks and feet as no one was in a rush; it was Sunday after all and everyone had the day off.

Among the auxiliary, a green-haired repair ship yawned and got up.

"Head feels a little funny." U.S.S. Medusa moaned half awake and shuffled to the shared bathroom like a zombie.

In the bathroom two other ship-girls were getting ready for the day.

"Morning Medusa, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as always."
Chuckled the repair ship Nestor, when the firefighter Hoga looked at the barely awake girl strangely.

"It looks like something is in your hair." The two looked closely at Medusa's head when Nestor cried out.

"Waaahhhh! It's a snake!" As if summoned, the small snake's head rose into the air.

The three began yelling about what to do, sensing danger, the snake took a defensive stance.

"What?! It's tightening itself on my head!" Medusa panicked as she was afraid she would be bitten if she tried to knock the snake off.

The yelling of what to do continued when Medusa screamed.

"Enough!" The room became quiet in an instant as Medusa was a fast problem-solver.

"Nestor, go to the main office and get all the anti-venom you can get your hands on. Hoga, remember what she looks like, go to the library, and figure out what kind of snake we are dealing with, got it?" Medusa ordered swiftly as the two nodded and slowly headed out the door.

Alone, Medusa slowly turned to the mirror to indeed find a snake reared up on her head.

"It's ok girl, no one's going to hurt you." The green-haired girl's soft voice seemed to soothe the reptile a little bit, causing it to lower its head some.

"There we go, now come down for a moment and let me look at you." Medusa lifted her hand up to her head.

The snake just stared at Medusa in the mirror, her golden eyes mesmerizing the reptile.

Cautiously, the snake loosened its grip on Medusa's head and slid in her hand.

The repair ship brought down her hand as she looked at her scaly assailant.

"See? Nothing to be afraid of." Medusa assured, and bopped her head.

Strangely enough the snake bopped its head in return.

"Hehehe, you're kinda cute." Medusa lifted her other hand to pet the snake's head when it suddenly bit her and leaped to the floor.

"Owwww, but you're not very nice...." The golden eyed girl grumbed, watching the snake make a hasty get-away.

"Be safe little friend." The repair ship waved to the disappearing snake as she felt a little sad.

"I hope she comes back, then maybe I can give her a name." Medusa thought about it for a moment.

"Maybe I'll call her..."
