Schools exams are right around the corner, and you've(very smartly) decided to ditch on school since you feel like studying alone is a much better option. You've been working since 10am without food or water, and you've had a few naps halfway through, but now you're awake once more. You look back at your wall clock. 3.05pm. You throw your pen onto your textbook, head spinning due to the algebraic expressions stuck in your brain.

Another day back home, spent on literally nothing. The same. You still aren't able to think of a solution to this problem about liking Itadori. It's like a storm in your head, all hazy and confusing. The worst part is, he doesn't understand anything. He's too innocent for this. He can't know the rumors about you, or he'd leave.

Suddenly, you hear a sound from your window. Once, twice, thrice. A scratch has appeared on it, and when you take a closer look, another knock scares you, making you yelp. It's a pebble. You look down, to see Itadori right there, waving and smiling widely back at you. You swallow your pride. You open the window, and look down back at him. "Go home!" you yell. "I need to talk to you!" he yells back, still smiling. How do you get a boy out your front porch? You whip out your phone, typing it in on Google. But it's too late. The boy is ready to grab onto the vines of your house, about to reach you. "No! I'll open the door! Wait there!" you panic, running out your room, down the stairs. If he falls, he's gonna break a limb. and you don't want that. You open your door, when you see his silly face, you give him a good smack. He does his usual "Owww" and rubs his face, but the grin that's stayed makes you believe he's starting to like the pain. "Get in, dumbass." you pull him in, closing the door. Who knows what could happen if one of the kids in school finds him at your porch?

"What are you doing here?" you demand an explanation, obviously crossed. Instead, Itadori looks around your house, giving his welcome. "I need to see you." he tells you. Wait...he's supposed to be in school. "Why aren't you in school?"you gasp. He faces you, this time shrugging slightly. "To see you." he repeats. My god, this dumbass. You lead him upstairs, to your room, and finally close the door.

"Uh, Y/n?" he asks suddenly. You move back a little, knowing well this isn't going to end well. Why does he want to see me this badly? What is he hiding? Does he still like me?

"Woah, your room is really big." he says, looking around your walls. The sheets of your bed is still in a mess and your mangas are all over the place, as well as the leftover food you kept at the corner of the room is staring back at you, your stomach curls. "What do you want to tell me?" you get to the point. If he confesses, you hadn't thought of what you'd do. You hadn't had the slightest clue, and God decided to go "Oh, let me test you right now!" and boom! He's here, right in front of you. If he confesses, you'd have to turn him down. Nice and easy. That's the only way to go. For the benefit of both of you. But Itadori's next move surprises you, and it's happening too fast that you don't react in time-

"Y/n, all this while I've... I actually-"

"No! Stop!" you say, pointing him down. give it to him, give it to him bad, you say to yourself. Let him go, set him free. His eyes grow wide, looking almost afraid of you. You let the thought go, biting your inner cheek instead. Don't overthink, Y/n. "What did  you want to tell me?" you say, calming down.

The boy walks over to you, pulls out his wallet from his back pocket and shakes it right above your open palm, the coins falling into it. "I forgot  to pay you back, for those barbeque chips? Remember?" he asks. You blink. "Oh-Ohhh...."your voice trails away. WHY AM I SUCH A DUMBASS--

Itadori keeps his wallet and settles down onto your bed. "Wait, so you came all the way here, to return my  money?" you pivot his way, a confused look on your face. Itadori looks like a dog that's peed on your bed and looks guilty for being caught. He freezes, then melts into a large smile. "I also had a sudden urge to annoy the hell out of you."

"You should go home and study, Itadori." you tell him, getting back to your messy desk. "It's no fun without you in school! It's so boringgg...besides, I've memorized everything on that maths textbook anyways." he boasts, crossing his legs like a gentleman does and throwing gun signs to you. You turn your wheel of your chair to him, crossing your legs like a lady does. "Is that so? Well then, what's the formula-"

"Okay fineIdidn'tstudyOOOOOFHHHTHATWASSOGOODTOSAY." he finally admits, smacking his forehead with his palm. You always loved winning against this guy. No matter how much he  tries, he'd give in, and you just love using it to your advantage. "I can teach you, i-if you want?" you can't believe the words that  just left your mouth. You wish  to take it all back, but then-

"Yes, please." Itadori says. You take a good look at him, unable to process it. "W-What?"

"I'll learn." he says confidently, puffing out his chest.

"But you never study.." you say. Itadori stays there, on your bed, waiting with the most innocent eyes. You grip the sides of your textbook. You're already breaking in cold sweat, knowing his eyes are set on you, his vision so strong that you can feel him burn a hole through  your head. Isn't this a study date? Oh my god it is? It's just us, and, and, andkdsufjgbvweiurbnbvwjenr

"Alright sensei! Teach me please!" he's already bowing to you, making your heart race. This is the real thing. This doesn't happen usually for you. Nothing has prepared you for this moment. I THOUGHT THESE ONLY EXISTS IN ANIMESDBVUELIUBVNE

He's in your seat. He's in your seat. IN. YOUR. SEAT. Using YOUR pen. And he called you his sensei. Boy, he's playing too much. And suddenly it's burning a hundred degrees in your room. "Ready, Itadori-kun?" you try to imitate Mr Gojo's voice.

"Hai, Y/n sensei!!" Itadori sounds like he's enlisted in the military

"Hai, Y/n sensei!!" Itadori sounds like he's enlisted in the military. You hold your laughter.

"Alright, so basically, write your name first, in that box there."

"Tch, I know where to write my name, sensei. I'm not dumb-"

Name: ____1 September 2019_________

"HAHAHAHAHAAHH!" you burst out laughing, your stomach hurting. Itadori' s ears are blooming a bright pink, lighter than the shade of his hair's color. "Well," you take a deep breath, trying not to wheeze again. "Looks like we've got a long way to go, no?"

Itadori hunches his back, demotivated. "Yes, sensei." he says in a  small voice.

In moments like these, you want to keep in a tiny bottle to re-experience it for the first time over and over again. You wonder if it was right not to accidentally blurt out that you'd loved him the moment you've met, the moment he's carried you, how much he's encouraged you throughout this year to move on a be happy as yourself. You want to see his reaction, what he'd say, if he's kiss you, if he'd say some stupid romantic shit like princes do, if he'd neglect you. But another part of you still wants to hold on, and it kills you inside, because you really want to say it. You really do.  you just don't know how.
