"Itadori." Yuuta taps on his shoulder. The boy turns back, his head still in the clouds. "You blacked out for a minute. You good?" he asks. Itadori takes a good look at where he is, the black dungeon, the silver cage he's trapped in, Yuuta's katana on the ground. Itadori nods. "Good. Don't want you dying before the last second." he shakes away the sewer water off his shoe, then goes over to sit at the stool.

He scans his clothes, his usual uniform sitting nicely on his body, his violet, star- patterned hoodie no longer there. Itadori reaches for the last part of his body that hurt but notices, the hole around his heart has disappeared. Where's Megumi? Oh. Where's Gojo, and Inumaki-senpai, and Nobara senpai and Maki senpai?  He opens his mouth to ask. But it hits him. Oh

 "Where are the rest?"

"Oh, they're coming. It's gonna be the ultimate showdown." he tells you, shaking his feet. Itadori reminisces the last moments he's had with you, the perfect summer, his last dance. He starts to think about the people he's lost, whom he's seen in your world, alive and healthy, living. And he wishes to see it all over again. "So, how'd I know it's Yuuji I'm talking to, and not Sukuna?" Yuuta's voice enters his thinking space, interrupting him. Itadori bows his head solemnly. He's lost all life in him. "It's me alright, the vessel." he softly speaks. His mind begins to wander again, oh how he wants to tell Megumi everything. But he can't, and there's nothing left here to share his happiness. "Look kid, I wish it didn't have to work this way, I really don't. But we don't have a choice, now do we?"

Itadori faces his right palm, and holds out his single pinkie. The pinkie you've held with your own. "You're right. " he says, clenching it into a fist. "Just do it, get it over with."

"What?" Yuuta gets up from his seat. "You're not gonna fight?"

The pink-haired boy breaks down, frowning, slowly sinking into the ground. He's lost you, his everything. And there's nothing he can do left to change that. His cries are silent, the kind where you suppress, the kind where it chokes your lungs out of air, till you can't breathe. In his mind, he imagines you there, with your arms crossed, your black clothes on. He realizes that he's definitely lost in this game of life.

Of all the things he's sacrificed, the people he's seen killed in front of his eyes. And now, he's lost you, the best person that's left him an eternity. But it ended. It ended in a blink of an eye.

Itadori grips his clothes, rocking forward as he breaks little by little. Inside, he knows he's had a good life with you, and maybe, maybe in another infinity, he's already with you, holding hands and having ice cream, like couples do. He closes his eyes alas, knowing he never regretted the life he had with you.

"Just kill me, kill me already."

You walk down the aisle carrying a pathetic, useless trolley with a broken wheel. Unfortunately, due to your social awkwardness, you decided to use it instead of the next because there was a line forming behind you and your heart couldn't handle that. You walk, hands on the handle, shifting the stupid trolley every few seconds as it squeaks. Great, just great.

The fruits section seems packed, so you avoid the item 'Strawberries' on your grocery list. Instead, you head over to the snack section, thinking of a good binge eating session with anime tonight. You walk over, trying not to bump into the food display. And you pass by the snack, the same one that's caught your attention and you've avoided.

Yet, you can't help but to go back, dragging the bothersome trolley. And it's still there, the Spiderman themed chips. You still see him there, crouching over and holding the chips up to your face with the biggest smile. You subconsciously grin at it, the moment that lives in your head. Eventually, you take one and throw it into the cart.
