Today's your birthday, and as promised, Itadori came climbing up your balcony to celebrate, just the two of you. You told him you just wanted a movie night, but he said it wasn't enough. You're busy reading mangas, about to fall asleep since your parents forgot today was your birthday and didn't get you breakfast, and since it's still 7am, you're ready to snuggle in bed and drift away into your sweet dreams. When suddenly, you hear a sound coming from outside. It's a familiar sound, like music. At first you ignore, hoping it's the neighbours. You flip another page, and then you hear your name being called. You sit up, eyes bulging wide. Nope, something's not right. You get on your feet, the music getting louder. When you swing your windows open, your eyes look down, trying to process, because too much is happening in front of you right now-

"SHORTY GOT THEM APPLE BOTTOM JEeeaAANNSSS, BOOTS WITH THE FURRRR!!" it's Itadori(obviously) in a pair of loose jeans and some weird shirt that says "I Love New York!" as the speaker on the ground blasts the song at maximum volume. His chest is pumping to the loud beat, his mic held the wrong way( not that he notices) and not to mention he's singing the wrong verse to the song. You stay rooted to the ground, unable to comprehend anything. Well, at least he's trying. The boy drops his mic, falling to the floor so fast you almost screamed because you thought he slipped and fell. But he's too pressured to do well he doesn't let it stop his show. He's too busy doing his dance break that he doesn't notice you frowning down at him.

"ITAADOORIII!" you yell. The boy is still busy on the ground, repeating the same stupid dance moves, shuffling his feet off beat, breaking in sweat. He seems to comfortable on your front porch these days. How long has he been here?

"SHAWTYY GON LOW LOW LOW low low..." he goes, doing the 'wave' dance move, hurting his knee halfway through.

"ITADORI!" you yell once more, this time he looks back up. He raises his neon orange funky-looking sunglasses and fits them on his head. "Ah, good morning birthday girl! Or shall I say, Shawtiee!!!" he continues dancing, getting on the ground yet again to to a T-Pose.

"Can you keep it down? You're waking up the entire neighbourhood!" you say. Itadori sighs loudly when he hears you, decreasing the volume of his speakers. "Awh, you're no fun. You haven't seen the WAP performance I memorized last night." he pouts.

"Get. Up. Here. Now."

You shut the door close. "It's 7am, Itadori. 7 AM!" you hit him with one of your books. He doesn't care , though. In fact, he has quite a satisfied look on his face, humming to the previous song he was grinding to earlier. You clear the leftover food you had on your desk, then get onto your bed.  "My god, do you do this for everyone's birthday?" you complain. Itadori sets his bright red speaker on your carpet and sits down right next to you with a 'plop!'. "I like doing cool surprises for my friends' birthdays. Nobara and Megumi was supposed to be here to dance with me, by the way." he says confidently. "And what happened to that plan?" you ask slyly. the boy nervously laughs. "Well..." he notices how much you want his answer by the look of your eyes. "Okay FINE! Nobara said she has a date and Megumi never answered."

You lightly snicker at him, patting him on the head like you'd do a good dog. "Next time, don't do that please? Or I'd need to move out." you get up, walking to your closet. "You need a change of clothes. Here, take this." you throw him an oversized black tee, which he catches perfectly. "Ugh, you're literally like Megumi, you don't know how to have fun." he whines, throwing his feet against your bed like he's throwing a mini tantrum. "And what's with you and Megumi's obsession with black clothes? There's other colors to choose from, ya know?"

"Damn, who hurt you today?" you laugh, closing your widely opened windows. He mumbles under his breath, looking down. You hate seeing his light being overshadowed by your darkness and your pessimistic views. But today, today you want to have fun. And you want to go all the way today. Because today's special. You rush over to your bed, getting closer to Itadori. "You got plans for me? I've got nothing on today." Itadori 's face lights up, he faces you with his puppy eyes. "What about your parents?" he asks. Immediately, you hear your mom walking up the stairs. You and Itadori exchange anxious looks. "Quick, hide!" you exclaim, grabbing the sheets and pushing his head under. the steps are getting louder, and you hear the door creaking...
