Chapter two

The next day , Kourtney woke up from her sleep.

Before she was fully conscious, a box of contraceptive pills was thrown at her.

"Eat this."

Kourtney lifted her head and saw Kameese was already fully clothed. He looked cold and elegant, completely different from the violent devil he had been the night before.

Looking at the box of contraceptive pills, Kourtney heart started to tremble.

She was already pregnant and should not be eating contraceptive pills. It would cause the baby to become deformed.

"Why are you not eating?Do you want me to feed you?"

When Kameese saw that Kourtney not moving, he was slightly agitated.

"Kourtney, I'm telling you.Don't even think about have my child. You're just a shameless lowlife who would bite the hands that feeds you. You do not deserve to have my child."

The man's words struck Kourtney's heart.

It was already summer, but Kourtney could feel a cold breeze invading her heart violently.

She had thought that the child would be the breakthrough to their relationship, but it looked like she had been too naive.

Now, she did not even have the courage to tell the man that she was pregnant with his child.

Thus, under Kameese's cold and watchful gaze, she had no choice.She took out a pill and pretended to swallow it. In reality, she hid the pill under the her tongue.

Kourtney felt guilty. She was scared that Kameese would see through her. However, at this time, his phone rang.

Kameese looked at the caller ID and answered the call without hesitating. Immediately, his eyebrow knitted together.

"What? Writa tried to kill herself? I'm coming now!"

Kourtney was shocked by the news. Writa had tried to kill herself?

She ignored the discomfort in her body and cleaned herself up quickly. Then, she put on a random piece of clothing and ran downstairs.

Kameese had started the car and was about to drive away. However, the door of the passenger seat suddenly flew open.

"Take your filthy hand away. Who permitted to sit in my car?"

The man's cold and heartless words caused Kourtney to quickly take her hand away. She was as lowly as dirt whenver she looked at Kameese.

"Kameese, I'm worried about Writa. Let me go with you."

"Your worried? Shouldn't you be the happiest if Writa has died?"

He looked at her coldy with despise in his eyes. Then, he stepped on the gas.

Kourtney's face was white. After standing in a daze for a few seconds, she called car and tailed Kameese's car.

In City Center Hospital, Kourtney followed Kameese in a room.

In there, she watched with a worried look on her face as Kameese walked toward the bed. At this moment, Writa could be seen sitting on the bed with a pale face.Her eyes were wet, and looked upset.

However, it was fortunate that she was not in danger. Kourtney let out a sigh of relief.

When Writa saw Kammese, her face fell. She fell into his arms devastatingly.

"Kameese.."

She called out Kameese's name sweetly and told him her grievances while being wrapped in his arms.

In Kourtney's eyes, Kameese and Writa looked like a loving couple, while she was just an outsider.

Kourtney suppressed the sadness in her heart and walked forward.

"Writa.."

" Kourtney you thankless wench! How dare you come and see Writa!"

Just when Kourtney was about to walk over, an angry voice scolded from behind her.

The voice was familiar. It was Writa's mother, Rebecca Davis.

Kourtney turned aroud and recieved a heavy slap across her face. Consequently, her vission turned blur from the impact of the slap.

"You're shameless harlot! We adopted you out of kindness. We fed you, we clothed you, and in the end, you became an ungrateful wench that snatched away Writa's fiancée!"

All of the sudden, Rebecca began talking about how she had slept with Kameese three months ago. However, she had not planned for it to happen.

Kourtney wanted to explain herself, but she received another slap on the other side of her face.

The corber of her lips started bleeding after the slap. Furthermore. she began seeing stars and almost fell down as a result. Afterward, Jimmy Smith, her father, shouted in her ear.

" Kourtney, fron this day onward, you're no longer a Smith. We don't have a daughter who's so shameless as to do anything to get what she wants!"

After he said that, Jimmy kicked Kourtney.
