Adeline's P.O.V

"You told Sweet Pea you missed him?" Cheryl asked me as I lied on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. 

"Yup."

"So what are you going to do?" Toni asked me as the two sat next to me.

"I don't know. I told myself that I would focus on myself and on school but being with him again, I don't know how to feel."

I went straight to Cheryl and Toni since they knew about my situation with Sweet Pea better than anyone. I looked over at Toni.

"Has he said anything to you, Toni?" I asked.

"He's doing everything to get back together with you. He's actually doing well with school and he hasn't been getting into so much trouble. He's really trying for you," Toni told me. I looked back up at the ceiling before letting out a sigh. 

"You should try again, Adeline. I know he hurt you but you've forgiven him, you moved on from it, and he's doing everything to try again with you," Toni told me.

"Would I be doing the right thing though?" I asked.

"There's only one way to find out," Toni smiled softly at me. 

I walked over to Archie's community center where I saw him talking to Munroe. I tapped on his shoulder making him turn around to look at me.

"Hey. I need to talk to you," I tell him.

"I need to talk to you too," Archie said.

"Can we talk in private though?"

"Yeah. Come on."

I followed Archie to his office before sitting down on the couch. Archie moved a chair to face before taking a seat as well. 

"What's up? Something wrong?" Archie asked.

"I wanted to know how you would feel if I started to date Sweet Pea again," I tell him.

"You're dating Sweet Pea again?" Archie asked.

"Not yet. I told him that I missed him but I want to make sure that you'll be there for me if I get my heart broken again," I tell him.

"Adeline, I'll always be there for you. If you want to date him again, go for it. Just know that I'll be here for you if you get your heart broken again."

"Thank you, Archie," I say with a small smile.

"Now, it's my turn to ask you something."

"Shoot."

"Will you help me with a Big Brother and Big Sister program I want to set up for the center here?" Archie asked.

"Like guiding the kids towards a better future?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm gonna talk to Reggie about getting the Bulldogs into volunteering and if you can talk to the Vixens, that would be great."

"I'll talk to Cheryl since I'm not the head bitch in charge but I will definitely help out. Once you head off towards college, I'll be around for one more year so I can definitely try to run the place and maybe I can convince Carly to help me out," I tell Archie.

"Thank you so much, Adeline. This place is really important to me and-"

"I know, Archie. Dad would be proud of you doing this for others," I tell him. Archie smiled at me as I stood up. "I need to go and find Sweet Pea now." 

"Good luck."

I headed over to where the Sperents now normally hang out. I spotted Sweet Pea talking to Fangs but stopped when he saw me. I waved over at him. Sweet Pea said something to Fangs before rushing over to me. 

"Adeline. What are you doing here?" Sweet Pea asked me. 

"I needed to talk to you," I tell him.

"What is it? Did something happen?"

"No. But can we talk in private?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Come on," Sweet Pea lead me over to a booth in the corner. I sat next to him as I looked down at my hands.

"What did you want to talk about?" Sweet Pea asked.

"I thought about what happened between us during Halloween," I tell him.

"And?"

"I do miss you but I feel scared."

"About what?"

"If you're going to hurt me again."

"Adeline-"

"I know Toni told me that you have been trying to change for me and I thought about it and I want to try again with you," I tell him.

"What?" Sweet Pea asked in disbelief.

"Yeah. I want to try again with you if that's alright," I tell him.

"Of course! I've missed you so much," Sweet Pea said before holding me close to him. 

"Please don't hurt me again okay?" I asked.

"I would never hurt you again," Sweet Pea said. I smiled up at him before cupping his cheek and kissing him softly on the lips. 

"I've missed you."

"I've missed you too," Sweet Pea said before leaning down to kiss me once more.

Author's Note: I apologize for not updating in over two months! I was so swamped with school and work but I am slowly coming back for you guys! I have been busy balancing two jobs because my boyfriend and I plan on moving in together soon and we may have found a place but it is not set just yet. But I hope you liked this chapter since Adeline and Sweet Pea are finally back together!
