The secret admirer pt. 2

Previously

"Umm, Samantha Thompson." Kasanoda grabs my hand. "I know we've only know each other a short time but, I am your secret admirer. And if you don't think I'm creepy, would you like to go on a date with me and consider being my girlfriend?" Everyone looked shocked except Kasanoda who was smiling and Tamaki who was furious "Well?"

And now the thrilling conclusion!

"I'm sorry Kasanoda. I can't do that. I have a boyfriend."

"Ah, I see. Well this is awkward. Who is it?"

"Umm... well."

"I Am Her Boyfriend!!" Tamaki sternly glares at Kasanoda wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me.

"How about the two of us just stay friends!" I offer with a smile.

"Yeah, I just need some time."

Over the next few days he got closer to Haruhi and when Tamaki got all moody about it I was there to console him like any good girlfriend would.

"Such a good Sami. Caring for your boyfriend." Addie cheers.

"Speaking of that, why are you so invested in who Haruhi dates when you've got this pretty girl for a lover? Haruhi is cute but if Sam was my girl, I wouldn't care about anyone but her."

"I thought we talked about this. We're just friends."

"If I was your boyfriend I would treat you right. And I can treat you better than he can."

"So what, you're just using Haruhi to make me jealous? It's not working! It's just pissing me off! She's my friend and just like Tamaki I'm overprotective of my friends."

"You deserve better than Tamaki!"

"Well I love him okay?!" I shout for all the club to hear. Everyone looks at me in shock. "Just forget it!" I run away.

"Sami! Wait!" Addie yells running after me.

"Addie no, you should go be with Mori."

"But your my friend and you need me."

"I wouldn't want to be a bother."

"You're not, really." She pulls me into a tender embrace.

"Thank you." I whisper.

"Anytime. I know you would do the same for me."

"He loves her doesn't he? He's in denial but I always knew it. And now I've backed him into a corner."

"Tamaki? No no no no! He loves you."

"I just want to make him happy."

"You do."

~third person POV~

While our heroines shared a tender platonic moment in the hallway the hosts were conversing in there club.

"Do you think he's right?"

"Hmm? Bossanova? About what Tamaki?" Kyoya says looking up from his death note.

"That I'm a bad boyfriend, and Samantha deserves better. Does she think that?"

"Does SHE think SHE deserves better?!" Kaoru yells in disbelief. "Boss, have you ever had a conversation about your relationship?! Because she's always thought she wasn't worth your time!"

"Kaoru has a point boss. The woman may display a confident persona, but she has doubts. A lot." Hikaru agrees.

"Tama-Chan, she's not the type no get jealous, but she is the type to have doubts."

Over on the couch Haruhi and Kasanoda are conversing as well.

"I didn't mean to stir up trouble. I'm sorry, I've just been having a hard time excepting the rejection and then you come along and are really nice to me. I just don't like to think she rejected me because of him and then see him all over another woman."

"I honestly don't feel any romantic feelings for Tamaki. And it's not just because he's dating my neighbor. He acts to much like my dad."

"I really do want to spend more time with you."

"Oh, I wanna spend mor time with you too!"

"Haruhi Fujioka I-I-"

"I'm excited to be great friends with you too!"

"Y-Yup! Best of friends!" Kasanoda says painfully. He really did want to be with Haruhi.

Then everyone comes rushing over telling him they'll be his friends. Even the twins and honey.

~Samantha's POV~

"So that's what happened once we left huh?" I say almost sarcastically.

Haruhi was regaling us (Addie and me) with what happened at the club after we left. It was the end of the day, and the clubs had dispersed for the day.

"Yeah. Everything worked out though."

"I'm glad! I really do want to be friends with Bossanova even if it might be awkward for awhile!" Addie cheers.

"I never meant to cause you trouble Haruhi!"

"No trouble at all." She just waves it off.

By the doorway of the building we see Kasanoda just waiting there.

"Do you guys want to go ahead?"

"Are you coming for dinner to tell us what happened then?"

"It's pretty much a given since we have dinner at each other's houses every other day."

"See you there!" Addie chirps.

"Hey Kasanoda."

"Hey. Look I'm really sorry. I just really liked you. And I was jealous and stupid."

"I do think you're a wonderful friend, and a wonderful person. But I love Tamaki, and that's not going to change anytime soon."

"I understand." He says and kisses the top of my head. "I'm good with being just a platonic friend. Just a brother figure if that's what you want. I just wanna be in your life."

"I'm glad I met you Kasanoda. It's kind of funny." I being and he tilts his head. "If it weren't for those secret admirer notes Tamaki wouldn't have confessed to me. Thanks!" He sweat drops.

"N-No problem." He stutters and I walk home to the 'family' dinner.
