We were walking down to go to Hagrid's Hut to visit him and also... today's the day Buckbeak leaves the world. On the way we see Draco and his pathetic goons with him laughing. I could tell Hermione's not gonna like this. I didn't like it either, but I didn't have that much energy to take an act on it.

"You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" Hermione shouted furiously, pointing her wand at Draco and obviously, he was scared.

"Hermione, No! He's not worth it," Ron said half scared as Draco was.

I pat his back to show him it's okay. If I were her I'd curse him- wait what? I shook my head in disbelief that I even thought of that.

Hermione backed away and Draco laughed, but then I couldn't hold back, so I stepped up without thinking and punched him in the face. I gasped at what I did entirely shocked that I could even punch that good.

"I-" I couldn't say anything. Draco whimpered and then ran back inside the castle with his goons. I smile, still shocked at what I did.

"That must've felt good," Hermione smiled.

"Not good, brilliant!" Ron corrected her and we all chuckled.

We hurriedly went down to Hagrid's to check how he was. He let us in and gave us tea. Harry suggested that he should set Buckbeak free instead, but Hagrid might get into much more trouble if he does.

"He's coming down, you know? Dumbledore. Says he wants to be with me when they...When it happens." He sighed and turned around to feed his creature. "Great man, Dumbledore. A great man,"

"We'll stay with you too, Hagrid," Hermione said. I nodded agreeing to the idea.

"You'll do no such thing! Think I want you seeing something like that? No. You just drink your tea and be off," Hagrid sternly says."Oh. Before you do, Ron..." He took out scabbers and gave them to Ron.

"Scabbers! You're alive!" Ron smiled.

"Keep a closer eye on your pets, Ron," Hagrid told him.

"Told you it wasn't Crookshanks," I said and drank tea.

"I think that means you owe someone an apology," Hermione glares.

"Right. Next time I see Crookshanks, I'll let him know," Ron replies.

I facepalmed and exchanged looks with Harry. "Idiot," I whispered.

"I meant me!" Hermione angrily walks up to him, just as she was about to look like she was going to hit him the pot on Hagrid's table broke.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked out the window. "Blimey, what was that?" Hagrid says walking towards the window.

"Ow!" Harry said and put a hand on his head.

"What?" I say. standing up.

Harry turned around and called for Hagrid.

"It's late. It's nearly dark. You shouldn't be here. Someone sees you outside the castle at this time of night, you'll be in trouble. Big trouble. Particularly you, Harry and Y/n," Hagrid warns.

ME? What did I do?!

"Quick, Quick!" Hagrid says we all rushed to the back door and went outside.

Harry stopped and turned around to face Hagrid. "Hagrid, it'll be fine. It'll be okay,"

Hagrid nodded and continued to rush us out.

"Let's go!" I say and grabbed Harry's hand and led him to the door.

The four of us peaked outside first before going out and running down to the trees. We hid behind the pumpkins and overhear their conversation.

My hand tightened its grip on Harry's hand when I heard "Well, I think we should get down to our business, shall we? Very well. It is the decision of the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures that the hippogriff known as Buckbeak, hereinafter called 'the condemned' shall be executed this day at sundown,"

I felt like there was a lump in my throat. If only... we could let him go.

Then a branch broke which made Hermione and I look back.

"What?" Harry asked. I saw something familiar, but I'm not sure since it was gone already.

"I thought I just saw-- never mind," Hermione says. We all shrug it off.

"Let's go," Ron said.

We ran to the top taking a quick look at Buckbeak, we heard Buckbeaks squawk and my heart broke when I heard it. Harry pulled me to run again. We all stand there as we watch the man raise his scythe and chop Buckbeak's head off. We all take deep breaths,

"Oh no," Ron said as Hermione hug him and cry.

"No.." I whisper and covered my eyes at Hermione's back as Harry hugged me from behind. Buckbeak was gone.

A few tears escaped my eyes as we all stand there in grief which was stopped when Ron's rat bit him and ran away. Ron followed it forgetting all of us. We call out for him as we follow him follow his rat. All this running is going to make me faint I thought.

"Scabbers, come back!" Ron yelled as if it's going to understand him.

"Wait!" I shout as we ran down. Ron jumped for it and caught Scabbers. That rat is something.

"Y/n, you do realize what tree this is?" Hermione asked and my eyes widened as I realized it was the whomping willow. Oh, not now.

 Oh, not now
