YEAR III: CHAPTER 16

"Turn me into a maggot! Turn me into a flobberworm! Anything but the dementors!" We hear Peter coming out from the hole in the root of the tree. 

We all look at him. I was kind of creep out by him not just by the fact he works for my Father, but the fact that he betrayed his dearest friends. 

"Ron! Haven't I been a good friend? A good pet?" He asked continuously, I scoffed. "You won't let them give me to the dementors, will you?" He cried out. "I was your rat!" He turned to me, "Sweet girl!" He said and then turned to Hermione. "Clever girl! Surely you won't let them..."

Luckily he was pulled away by Professor Luping before he could even finish the sentence. "Get away from her!" He said. The both of us locked eyes. He looked at me as if he knew something.

I look away and just looked up at the sky which made me stand up, "Uh, Is it just me or is the moon full?" I pointed at the moon. 

I look at Hermione and her eyes widened. "Harry!" She called out. Harry and Sirius looked over at our way. I pointed at the moon. 

Sirius rushed to his friend as Harry helped us help Ron stand up. 

"Remus, my old friend! Have you taken your potion tonight?" He said as he supported his friend that was slowly turning into a werewolf. He pointed at his chest and said "You know the man you truly are, Remus! This heart is where you truly live! This heart here! This flesh is only flesh!" I admired how he looked out for his friend, but of course, I was still terrified. 

Professor Lupin had let go of his wand causing Peter to pick it up luckily Harry was quick "Expelliarmus!" I glared at Peter it wasn't enough that he betrayed his friend, he even tried to harm them. Instead of Peter being scared he smiled and waved goodbye before turning into a rat. He ran off. Coward. 

I grabbed Harry before he could even chase after him. "Harry!"

We all took a step back as Professory Lupin was turning into a werewolf, he accidentally pushed Sirius away to the forest. 

We were about to go away when Hermione stopped."Wait! Wait!" She said. 

"Hermione, no!" I shout. Oh, for crying out loud. 

She took a step close, "Professor? Professor Lupin," She said. Professor Lupin looked at her for a while and then howled loudly. I let go of Ron and pulled Hermione back. We kept each other close as it got closer. I felt like I stopped breathing at that moment. 

"Nice doggy, nice doggy," Ron whispered beside the four of us. 

"It can't exactly hear you when you whisper it, Ronald," I whispered back. 

Suddenly Professor Snape got in front of us and immediately grabbed Harry's shirt.  "There you are, Potter!" He growled, but then Professor Lupin growled loud enough for Professor Snape to look back and see him, he kept us behind him in a protective stance. 

I gasp as it got closer to us holding tightly onto each other. Professor Lupin hit Professor Snape causing us all to fall and shriek in fear. My eyes widen with fear it was about to attack us luckily Sirius saved us by knocking Professor Lupin from behind. We all took the opportunity to stand up, I help Ron stand as Professor Snape kept us behind him while Sirius protected him from Professor Lupin by growling. 

We watch them intensely as they bite and scratch each other. Sirius got pushed behind, but he didn't give up there and protected us biting him once again causing Professor Lupin to chase him instead. 

"Sirius!" Harry run after them. 

"Come back here Potter!" Snape shouted. He stopped Hermione from going after him. Ron and I gulped hoping he wouldn't get hurt.
