[Y/n's P.o.V]
The wind blew throughout my hair as I stand outside the balcony of the guest bedroom at the Malfoy's. I close my eyes and stand there for a moment of peace with everything. I squinted my eyes, the sun blinded my sight a bit. I open my eyes properly and see Nyx flying my way. I smiled and reached out my hand for her to sit on. I take the letters out of her beak and walk inside to my room and fed her since she was gone for a while and was probably hungry. She flew to her cage and slept. I chuckle and sat on the foot of the bed, I was about to open my letters when somebody knocked on my door. "It's open, Draco," I said and put the letters inside my bag. I turn around to face Draco that was leaning at my door, hands in his pocket.
"Breakfast is ready," He gave me a quick look before leaving.
"Okay then," I nod, and stood up, crossing my arms. Honestly though, what's his problem? I walk out of my room to follow him. "Are you mad?" I whisper in his ear.
He was startled at my move and looked like he'd seen a ghost. His face was close to mine. I blinked, he looked away. "Mad? I'm not mad," He scoffed.
We walk down the stairs. I put a hand on his shoulder to stop him from walking. He turned around, annoyed at me. "What?"
"What I meant was, are you mad at me?" I took a step closer, but he also took a step closer which made us fall to the ground on our faces. We were close enough to feel each other's chest breathe. His heart was pounding and so was mine. We stare at each other for a moment before I stood up and took a step back away from him.
"Sorry," I looked down on the floor.
"I'm not mad at you," was all he said and continued walking to the dining area.
God, Y/n. I sighed and followed him instead, mentally face-palming at myself.
I sat down at the table in front of Draco and smiled at her mother. "Good morning, Mrs Malfoy" I greeted.
"Good Morning, Y/n. How did you sleep last night?" She asked.
"I was very tired from the travel so it was good," I answer smiling. Draco's mom is so nice and pretty. She was like a real mom to me. I even remember the gift she got me last year, it was a bow with a crest of their family, she treated me as her own.
"These pancakes are delicious," I ate happily and chatted with her all day long.
