YEAR IV: CHAPTER 9

Everyone is bashing Harry and making accusations of him putting his name in the Goblet of Fire. Some were glad, some were not, and some didn't care that much as long as Hogwarts wins. Worst of all, Ron is giving Harry a hard time because of his jealousy. I know Harry misses him in these types of situations. Ron was always there for him. I hope that stupid git wakes up and realizes there's nothing to be jealous about, but then again, I get where he's coming from. This is all too much to take in, really. 

"Double potions today, huh?" I say and look at our schedule. "This is going to suck," Harry nodded at me in approval. I waved at Cedric as we passed by while he tried to get out of the girls surrounding him. He waved back a bit but struggled. The girls surrounding him looked at me and I glared at them making them all walk away from Cedric in fear. Tch.

We all went to lunch, and it didn't get any better. Hermione and I were the only ones there for Harry. Ron was still-- Well, ignoring Harry. Somehow it was kind of good that I was with Harry, a lot of people are kind of scared of me ever since the incident, and a lot of people say I'm kind of scary when I glare because my eyes turn red every time I do. 

Just as we arrive at the Dungeons plenty of Slytherins were outside making a revolution or maybe something stupid. They were wearing badges, for a split second, I thought it was Hermione's S.P.E.W. badges. but then I thought that would be a miracle since she's muggle-born. When I got a closer look it said, "support CEDRIC DIGGORY the REAL Hogwarts CHAMPION" 

What the hell? I supported Cedric but not to this extent!

"Like them, Potter?" Malfoy said loudly as he walked up to us. "And this isn't all they do-- look!" He pressed his badge onto his chest, and the message upon it vanished, to be replaced by another one, which glowed green. It said "POTTER STINKS" 

Hermione placed a hand on my shoulder as I took a deep breath to calm myself. All of us has had enough, especially Harry, and now this? 

Everyone did the same thing Malfoy did and howled with laughter. My eyes turned red in anger. "Oh, very funny," Hermione said at Pansy Parkinson and her gang of blind ugly Slytherin girls who were laughing harder than anyone. "Really witty," 

"Look, if you want to be turned into a real pig just say so and I'll do it," I smirked at Parkinson. "Not that your ugly face isn't ugly anymore, just needs a few improvements," She glared at me with rage not until Draco spoke up.

"Want one?" said Draco, holding out badges to me and Hermione."I've got loads. But don't touch my hand, now. I've just washed it, you see; don't want a Mudblood sliming it up." 

Oh, now he's done it. I was about to take out my wand, but Harry took out his first and stood in front of us. "Harry!" Hermione said warningly.  This is not going to end well. 

They both looked into each other's eyes then, at the same time, both acted. "Furnunculus!" Harry yelled.

"Densaugeo!" screamed Malfoy.

Light shot from both wands, hit each other in midair and ricocheted off at angles — Harry's hit Goyle in the face, and Malfoy's hit Hermione. "Mione!" I shouted and went to her. Her front teeth had grown larger than average. Ron ran towards us to see what was going on with Hermione. I facepalmed as I see Snape coming towards us. 

Everyone explained themselves to Snape. He looked over at Goyle and sent him to the Hospital Wing. I and Ron both forced Hermione to show him what had happened. Some of the Slytherin girls were laughing at her, including Parkinson. I glared at them as my eyes glowed red. They all look away and whisper to each other instead.

Snape looked coldly at Hermione then spoke, "I see no difference," I scoff. Hermione whimpered as tears were forming in her eyes and ran away. I nudged Snape and he looked over at me confused.

"Really?" I whisper shouted at him then ran to follow Hermione. 

This might just be one of the worst things that will happen this year.
