WARNING OVER A THOUSAND WORDS!

[Y/n's P.o.V]

I was sleeping when suddenly a book fell on the floor. I groaned tiredly, I reach down and feel where the book was and as soon as I touch it, for a second, I saw Cedric sleeping peacefully in a room somewhere that seemed familiar but it was too quick for me to know.

I blinked for a few moments and grabbed the book, and put it on the table. It must've just been my mind thinking of Cedric again. I look at the time, and it was just right for me to get ready. I look over at Mother's dress, and decided to wear it for the Ball:

(You can imagine a different dress if you want ^-^ Also the hair is just the reference of the style, the hair colour is all yours :>)

"Y/n, you look gorgeous!" Lila exclaimed, smiling.
"Thanks, you look stunning as well," I smiled back.
"Cedric is one lucky guy,"
"Well, I'm luckier. How about you, whose your lucky guy?"
"Azrail's brother, Anton,"

"Wow, the brother of the Durmstrang Flirt," I laugh, she nodded blushing. "Well, I'm off. Cedric's probably down there right now," I say, and went on out. Just as I go down the stairs Alexander was already there standing. He wasn't wearing the same dress robes as everyone else, it was more modern. All black for short.

Alexander's outfit (Coat is much more longer):

"You look just like Father," I whispered, and then headed for the door

"You look just like Father," I whispered, and then headed for the door. He followed behind me.

"You have his eyes you know," He scoffed insulted. I could feel his eyes roll at me. I just smile sweetly at him and step on outside.

"You could've at least wore a tie or some kind of bonnet. You know," I say, as I look as if Cedric was already there. He must be talking to his friends.
"Well, I didn't want to look like an old grandma like your Weasley friend," He snorted. I glared at him while I fix his turtle neck and brush off a few specks of dust on his shoulder.
"There you go," I say and brush a few spots on his coats. I saw Cedric and I suddenly smiled widely. He walked up to us.

"Cedric," Alexander greeted.
"Alexander," Cedric greeted back.

There was an awkward silence for a while, I coughed to break the silence. "Y/n!" Cedric said looking at me. "Err- Let's go?" I ask, and he nodded. He offered his hand to me and I gladly accepted it. "See you later," I say to Alexander. Cedric quickly pulled me away from him.

"Hey, hey, there's no need to rush," I say and he suddenly slows down. He took a deep breath for a moment, he was a bit red and looked a bit embarrassed. I look at him confused.
"I'm jealous," He confessed looking down. Cute, I thought.
"Jealous? Of Who?" I look at him.
"Alexander," He pouted looking away. I burst out in laughter. "What's so funny?" He asked, I shook my head. "No, it's nothing. You have nothing to worry about, okay? He's just a friend," I smiled and he just nodded still looking away. Alexander? My brother? Ehck. I cupped both his cheeks with my hands, "Plus I kind of like you," I say flicking his forehead gently. He rubs his forehead laughing.

"You wore me down," He said pulling me closer to him and then slowly reaching for a kiss.
"No, no, let's go or else we're going to be late," I say, as I boop his nose. He laughed shaking his head.
"Fine," He sighed, smiling. "By the way, you look... breathtaking," He said under his breath. I blush. "You're not too bad yourself," I say, giving a quick kiss on his cheek.

The Great Hall was packed full of students. Partners were meeting some going in through the crowd finding theirs. The night was just perfect and the stars shining brightly, and the snow slowly falling up from the ceiling, it was truly a magical evening. I took a deep breath, Cedric and I both exchanged happy looks and walked down the stairs. Everyone watched us as we walked down the stairs, I squeeze Cedric's arm and he just put a hand on mine to calm me. I saw Ron and Harry, I waved to both of them and they both waved back.

I could hear whispers around. "Is that, Y/n?" "She looks stunning," "She looks glowing," and so on. I smile to myself, finally nothing about my issues for once. It felt nice.

"Cedric," Fleur Delacour called out as they walked towards us. I smile at her and she smiled back, she was beautiful in her elegant silver satin dress. Her partner was Roger Davies the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain. "Good evening," I greeted as we shake their hands.

Professor approached us and said, "I need all of you to line up in the procession, please," We all nodded as we listened to her instructions.

We all lined up, I turned around saw Hermione. "Hi, Mione, Krum," I greeted. "Hey, Y/n," She smiled widely. I look at Cedric, and we both pressed our forehead and took a deep breath. After that, we look at the doors as they slowly opened. We all walked in inside. Everyone was clapping as we make it to the dance floor.

The couple looked deep into each other's eyes. He put a hand on her waist while she put a hand on his shoulder as their other hands both intertwine perfectly like it was meant to be. The music slowly played and they danced happily in each other's arms. He lifted her up high in sync with the music. Everyone applauded at them. You could truly feel that the love they had for each other would last forever.

He stared at her as they danced, he thought that she was the most beautiful person he'd ever met. Something about her made his heart race faster than every race car around there. Time slowed down in his mind, and all he could see was her. He didn't love her because of what she does and what she looks like, he loved her for her. He chose to love her and that was the most beautiful decision he ever made.

She was in pure bliss in his arms. She could never let go of him, whatever happens, and whatever it takes. He was her light in her life full of darkness, he's the sunshine that shined upon her life unexpectedly. The moment he kissed her she knew that she was whipped. Without him, her life would be incomplete. She looked into his eyes and knew that the love they had was pure and rare.

"I love you," they both whispered to each other. He pulled her close and put the stray strand of hair behind her ear. She caressed his cheeks as he put his hand behind her neck slowly reaching in. They kissed under the beautiful night sky that witnessed their love for each other.
