YEAR IV: CHAPTER 6

I ran down the stairs as fast as I could, not careful enough that I could trip, but it was fine. I left something and remembered it while at breakfast, I got back to get it. I just didn't realize how much of a hassle it was. As I was running I hit someone. Lucky for me he grabbed my arm just in time before I sit on my butt. It was Anton Forestier.

"Sorry about that, excuse me," He said, clearly. He gave me one of his charming smiles before he left. Maybe, he doesn't know about me? I shake my head and just rushed to the great hall.

I sat down at the table where Harry, Hermione, and the others were. Sometimes I wish I was placed in Gryffindor House instead. I shook off the thought and just grabbed a piece of toast.

"There's a rumour going around that Warrington got up early and put his name in," Dean told Harry. 

"That big bloke from Slytherin who looks like a sloth?" Harry, shook his head in disgust."We can't have a Slytherin champion!" He looks over at me. "No offence, Y/n," 

I shook my head. "None was taken," I shrug and took a bite out of my toast. "I actually wouldn't like it as well if one of us was the Hogwarts champion. It'd be just brutal," I say in between bites.

"And all the Hufflepuffs are talking about Diggory," said Seamus contemptuously. 

"Oh yeah, he's joining as well. We talked about it," I said eating. God, this sandwich is good.

 "But I wouldn't have thought he'd have wanted to risk his good looks." I chuckled at what he said.

"Listen," said Hermione suddenly. I heard a lot of people cheering. It was Angelina, their chaser. They talked about her putting her name in the Goblet of Fire. I just ignored it and continued eating. 

I glanced at the Slytherin table. Most of them were glaring and looking at me weirdly. I shrugged it off just. I was about to turn around and wish Angelina good luck. 

My vision glitched it was turning dark at some point. I blinked a few times to make it go away. I saw someone in a hood with smoke coming out of it. It was dark and cold, no one was there. It was just him. I took a step back, breathing heavily as it got closer. "Y/n," The hooded man said lowly. 

"What do you want from me!" I shouted. My hands clenched into fists while the man walked closer to me. "Don't be scared. I'll join you soon," He whispered in my ear. He caressed my cheek gently and smiled before disappearing. I froze as tears rolled down my cheek, it felt so familiar. "Wait!" I shouted as the darkness slowly turned into smoke surrounding my hands. I close my eyes as I felt it was about to explode. 

I opened my eyes again, and I was back at Hogwarts. "Y/n?" Someone said but I ignored it as I watch the dark smoke fly outside the Great Hall. My eyes widen, I left everyone there and ran to follow it but when I got outside it was already gone. 'I'll join you soon' echoed inside my head. I stood there trying to figure out what just happened and who was he. What does he mean? Endless questions filled my head which made me broke into tears as bad memories flashed before my eyes. I messed up my hair crazily, "AHHHHH!" I screamed. Everyone looked at me like I was some freak because of that I ran but someone stopped me. 

I look up to see who it was. "Cedric," I whispered.
