Life fucking sucks

It all started when I turned six, I've lived in Compton my whole life but I can't stand my mother and her boyfriend.

Ever since she divorced my dad something flipped, I went from a prissy little girl to a skater who just wants to have fun and get fucked up. Having bipolar and adhd doesn't really help either.

My dad was my role model but when he left I didn't stay home, I would hop between friends places and sometimes stay at the L.A courthouse. Now I'm seventeen and I would go all over L.A to random kickbacks and parties because I had nothing better to do, eventually my so called "friends" said I couldn't stay anymore so I left and went to some random girls kickback.

I think her name was Estee and she seemed super nice so we got along, she was here with some of her friends which I didn't really get along with since all they cared about were boys and getting laid. You know, typical teenage girl shit.

"So you from around here?"

"Nah, I'm from Compton but I don't stay at my moms place anymore."

"She kick you out?"

"She divorced my dad and her boyfriend is a prick, she's so in love with him that she chose him over me. So I left, I'm not living anywhere and I sleep at the courthouse."

"Oh shit, really?"

"Yeah. But hey, at least I skate to cope with shit. It makes me happy I guess."

"Hey, there's this group of guys I know that you might get along with. They all skate and I think you might like them."

"Okay, I guess I could meet them."

"Cool, follow me real quick."

I followed her over to the couch to see a guy with short dreads smoking a cigarette next to a guy with short blonde/faded pink hair with a camera and a hispanic boy probably around my age with a buzz cut sitting with a mixed guy with tan skin and long curly blond hair.

"Guys this is one of my friends that came earlier, she skates a bit and I thought you guys would get along."

"Hey, I'm syd."

I said while giving a three finger salute, the guy with the dreads who I found out was Ray waved and introduced me to the boys.

"That's Fourth Grade with the camera and the guy who's half drunk and half high is Fuckshit with the guy next to him is Ruben."

"It's cool to meet y'all."

Ray gestured me to sit down and Ruben went off with some girl so I sat down next to Fuckshit, I pulled a blunt out of my pocket and lit it before I took a hit. Fuckshit looked over at me and said

"are you a dude or a chick?"

I had my hair tied back and I was wearing a baggy black hoodie with some baggy cargo pants so it made sense for him to ask me that.

"I'm a chick, just dressed like a dude."

"shit, my bad."

"it's alright, I get it all the time."

He smiled softly and I passed him the blunt, I'm so used to being high and drunk that if I wasn't either I wasn't myself, I talked with them for a couple hours before things were starting to quiet down. I was high out of my mind and I heard someone ask something and eventually found out it was Fuckshit.

"you need a ride home ma?"

"I don't have a home per say, just staying out on the streets."

"you kicked out or some shit?"

"More like I have a prick step-dad that my moms head over heels for over her daughter, I'm never home is what I'm saying."

"well I'm not letting you stay out on your own when you're blazed, if you want you can stay at my place. I'm not a weirdo or anything, I just wanna look out for you."

"Thanks man, I'll stay the night I guess."

He nodded and smiled, we kept talking before it was actually pretty late and we had to get going. I couldn't see straight and Fuckshit was driving Ray and them home first because they needed a ride so I just tagged along, he dropped them off one by one before he started to drive back to his place. I was drowsy but I tried to keep my eyes open as long as I could, he pulled up to his driveway and he shook me lightly because I was falling asleep.

"sorry to wake you but we pulled up."

"It's fine, thanks again for letting me stay."

"It's no problem ma."
