"Stop joking!" I yell at him, taking a swipe at his head that he barely manages to avoid.

"I'm not!" He insists.

I watch his expression more intently and the obvious signs of distress aren't lost on me. I chuckle to myself and shake my head. He had surprised me earlier with his good acting skills.

"You can't trick me again Park Jimin." I step over the ridge and carefully step down into the ditch, straining my ears for sounds of gurgling water.

Jimin scrambles down behind me.

"Listen to me," he cries, trying to get my attention by standing in front of me. I childishly turn round as to not have to look at him.

"Nope," I pop.

"Listen, I think we're genuinely lost!"

I stick my fingers in my ears and sing loudly; "I can't hear your lies Jimin!"

He jumps in front of me, quicker than before and grabs my wrists in his hands.

"Please, listen," he yells, seriously.

I stop singing, but I don't take my fingers out of my ears. I level him with a warning glare and stand still to let him explain himself. He returns a steady stare and gently attempts to remove my fingers from my ears. I allow my hands to fall to my sides. Jimin rests his hands on my shoulders as if to further how serious he's being right now and takes a deep breath. Knowing now, he has my full attention, he speaks softly;

"I don't have a clue where we are. Do you?"

Still not entirely sure if he's being honest with me, I don't panic quite yet. I wouldn't put it past Jimin to trick me multiple times in a row, he's done it before and has shown himself incapable of knowing when a prank has been taken too far.

"Please, believe me just this once. Don't turn me into the boy who cried wolf."

"You are that boy completely," I answer.

He seems to deflate a little at that.

"But..." I begin.

He perks up again.

"I'll believe you just this once and, I swear if you're joking, I'll never believe you again."

He takes my warning into consideration then nods briskly.

"It's a good thing I'm not lying then." He draws back from me completely, straightening his back and then looking down at me. "Now, do you know how to get back?"

And just in case the situation didn't seem bleak enough the sky thought it would help by growing dimmer. Thick, heavy looking clouds rolling over the previously clear blue stretches. I also recall with a wince that we both left our phones tucked away in our bags in the tent. But before I can lose my mind with fear, I consider the path we took from the campsite to here. Trying to recall the overall direction that we've been heading in.
