Varian's POV
Silently making my way towards the basement, I stumble upon the Alpha making out with his luna.
Sensing my presence, he turns to look at me with a sneer on his face.
"It's about time you came to work , head to the kitchen and start making our dinner you worthless creature",he says with venom dripping from each word he says.
"Yes Alpha ",I say showing him my neck as submission.
"Oh and tonight we will be receiving guests from the castle so make sure the food is up to Royal standard",he says before he leaves with his luna to probably continue what they started.
I let out a sigh as I plop my ass down on the kitchen floor,letting the tears run freely down my cheeks.
I didn't understand why they always treated me like this and what hurt the most was the fact that my dad initiated this.
The feeling of loneliness ate at my soul each day,taking pieces of it away.
Blocking these thoughts from my head,I start making dinner .

Placing the dishes on the dining table,I make my way to where I usually stood during formal meetings like these,the darkest corner of the dining hall which hid my appearance.
About 10 minutes later, the pack began filling the dining hall,with each sitting according to their ranks on the table.
"All rise",the Alpha says,as he heads outside to receive his guests.
A few minutes later,the doors open to reveal a suffocating aura which immediately made all members of the pack to bow,including me.
In walked the Alpha with a man who looked to be around his age walking beside him. Oh my freaking God !!!It was King Zeus. The almighty werewolf king.
Both laughed as they caught up with each other,oblivious to the submission of the pack members.
Behind them ,a young man with striking green eyes entered the hall,with curly hair and a cold look in his eyes. He looked like he didn't want to be here.
And lastly was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. With hair the colour of gold and a body any female would die for. She had pale green eyes and curly hair,high cheekbones and full baby pink lips.
All the men turned to look at her with lust which soon turned to envy as they saw the male who accompanied her.
Just beside her was my brother,Adrian who walked with pride. I couldn't help but feel a little jealous as I saw both of them.
I wanted to be the man beside her,I wanted to be the one to kiss those lips,I wanted to call her mine.
"Oh God what's that amazing scent",she asks sniffing around.
"Might be the food babe,after all I helped in preparing the dishes "he says and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
Has he ever been to the kitchen?
I bet he has never held a knife before.
"No not that babe,it smells like fresh leaves and rain water over here",she says sniffing around.
They all watched as she made her way towards where I hid.
I couldn't help but step out from the shadows and once I looked in her eyes,as cliche as it may sound, I felt the world fade out leaving only us.
"Mate",I hear her wolf say.
"Wait what?",Adrian says fuming.
Taking control over her body, the beautiful girl's face contorted to that of disgust.
"Eew,isn't that the runt of your pack. The worthless creature ",she asks Adrian.
"The one and only ",Adrian says with a smirk .
"I can't be with such a weak creature. I can't be with this filth",she says.
I couldn't ignore the pain that erupted in my chest when she said those words.
"What's your name?",she asks me as she takes a few steps forward.
"V-Varian",I stutter.
"I,princess Valerie,future queen of the werewolves reject Varian as my mate. Henceforth Adrian will be noticed as my mate and the future king of the werewolf kingdom ",she says.
Looking around,I saw all my pack members snickering and the Alpha was clutching his stomach as he laughed.
"This is classic,the runt was going to be king? What next? Will pigs fly?",he said as he continued his laughter.
"How can you judge me based on what people say? You barely know me",I whispered the last part hoping to change her mind.
"Just accept the rejection runt,I can't stand to be in your presence any longer",she says rudely.
"I,Varian accept your rejection ",and just like that I felt the bond break.
"Oh and Varian",Adrian addressees me.
"Yes Sir",I say looking down.
"I Adrian, chosen mate of princess Valerie and future king of the werewolf kingdom banish you Varian from the imperial pack. Henceforth, you will be noticed as a rogue and will be killed on sight if you are to ever enter this pack again",he says and all I could do was let the tears flow as I left in embarrassment.
Gathering the few belongings I had,which were a few clothes into my duffle bag,I ran as fast as I could towards the pack border.
Once crossing the border,I had officially become a rogue. And I was going to make sure these people regret ever treating me as trash.
