Crystal's POV:
A knock.
I sat upward, "Who's that?"
Ricardo looks at me, "That guy."
"Who?"
"The party guy."
"Ahmend? Why is he- oh." I forgot I agreed to let him take me to a party.
"Yeah."
I huffed a breath before getting off the bed. I grabbed my underwear.
"Don't," Ricardo says.
I raise an eyebrow at him.
He props himself up by the arm with a goofy smile on his face.
I rolled my eyes, "Perv." I fling my underwear at him.
When I got to the door, I fixed myself beside the mirror before I opened the door.
"Heyyy." He tilted his head, "Why are you still in your uniform?"
"I change my mind. I'm not in the mood to party." I hate beating around the bushes.
"What do you mean you're not in the mood to party? I-" Ahmend paused before his eyes went up and down my body. "Wait. I know this look." He sniffed the air before he stepped back, "Messy hair. Red cheeks. Wrinkled uniform. Stanky smell."
Ah fuck.
"I can smell the anxiety from you." He smiled, "You got someone in there."
I laughed awkwardly, "No."
He snapped his fingers, "You do! You're fucking with someone in there! Wait till Greyson hears about this!"
"Ugh. Don't be such an asshole, Laghari."
"Okay. Okay." He puts two fingers in the air. "I won't tell him." His smile only widens. "At least not over the phone."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously!" He turned around and knocked on the door across from mine.
It opened. "What is it?"
"Want to be my date for a party?"
The guy glanced at us past his glasses, "I'm kind of busy."
"Busy with what? Samuel. Let's go."
"Ahmend. I'm not going to go with you all because your date bails out. Plus, I need to finish this level."
"Finish what?! You're passing on booze and sex for a game?"
When I feel an arm touches me, I look back to see Ricardo, saying: "Let's go?"
"Pass," Samuel says.
"Oh, this level better be fucking important for you to-" I closed the door.
"You sure you want to pass a party for me?" Ricardo grinned.
I exhaled dramatically, "I mean, it would be an awesome party. But you can always make it up to me." I jumped on his waist, and he held me up.
I guess you say, in a way, Ricardo and I made up and became fuck buddies again.
If I dare to say it, we may even be friends.
Friends with benefits.
Oh my goodness, did I think of Ricardo as a friend?
Geez. What a big step in our relationship.
When the next day came, Ricardo and I cuddled in bed.
He yawned, "Want to have breakfast?"
