Crystal's POV:

"Such as?" I only accept bribes after hearing what they are.

"Look at your phone," Auggie said.

I turned on my phone and opened the message from an unknown number. There better not be a bug, or else hell will break loose.

Benefits:

Access to all staff buildings, including buildings that aren't accessible to staff.

Access to all students' information.

Personal room with walk-in closet.

I push the phone on my chest, "I accept the position." I place a hand on my chest and bow down. I need more space for my clothes. What can I say? I'm a materialistic girl who is too lazy to rent out an apartment to put her stuff. Who wants to travel in and out of campus just to grab a bag?

"What?" Madison screams. "You can't do that!"

Madison getting mad is a bonus in this whole ridiculous ordeal.

"I just did. Now, leave." Usually, I get irritated by this tone, but since it's not directed at me, I'm okay with it.

"You can't make me," Madison hisses. "I'm Madison fucking Everhart."

I put a hand on Taniyah's shoulder.

"What?" She whispered.

"Thank you." For forcing me to be here.

The wall turned, and a group of people in black outfits walked in. I wonder if I can negotiate to have these mysterious people work for me. I'm not sure what I'd use them for, but I'll figure it out.

They grab Madison by the arms. Madison smirks, "So, it's like this, huh." She flipped them over, "Who's next?"

Auggie blew out a whistle, "I'm impressed."

"Please. Tell that to someone who cares."

Blah. Blah. Blah.

Back-and-forth banter.

"Your older brother-" Mason turned his head towards the screen. "I heard he's in your family's summer home in Seoul, Korea, right? With Uncle Finn?"

The screen flickered, and it showed a house. Inside the well-furnished house, a few people were sitting around a dining table.

This is stalking at its peak.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

More banter.

"Crystal-"

I look up from my phone, "Yeah?"

"Please read the message."

"What messa-" A message popped up, "Oh."

First mission:

Trust test. Get a family member to trust you with their most precious item without request.

When I finished reading the message, I exhaled loudly. This is a lot of work already. I glance at Ricardo. With his arms crossed and his back pressed against the wall, he yawned quietly. He raised his hand and ran it across his eyes.

Same babe.

I'm also bored.

Standing in one location, I pouted. I want to go back to my dorm room and make out with my boyfriend.

Ricardo yawns again before he looks down at his watch.

He is so cute when he's tired.

How can someone be born so adorable?
