Put A Ring On It

"RUSSELL!" Zoe finally approached him and placed her paws on his shoulders and blabbered:

"Y'knowtheotherdaywefooledaroundinthefirehydrantandnowithinkimpregnant."

"What?" Russell asked puzzled since she spoke too fast to be understood. "I'm preggo," Zoe muttered.

"Huh?" Russell asked confused. "I'm PREGNANT!" Zoe screamed.

The other pets stared at her and then Zoe groaned. 

"Congratulations, Zoe!" Penny Ling smiled. 

The other pets congratulated Zoe and Russell. 

Russell almost fainted. 

"Hello! Russell! Earth to Russell!" Zoe snapped in front of his face.

Russell woke up from his trance and exclaimed, "Zoe! This is great! I'm gonna be a dad and you're going to-"

"I know, I know," Zoe's eyes welled up with tears, as Russell kissed her cheek.

Russell quickly shoved a jewelry box in Zoe's paws.

Zoe asked, "Erm, what is it?"

"Just open it!" Russell demanded her.

"OMG! It's a ruby ring, and it's beautiful!" Zoe squealed.

He put the ring on her paw, and she cried in his arms of joy. 

Zoe felt like gagging suddenly. 

Oh no, Zoe, go to the basin quick!

"A side effect of being pregnant is vomiting a lot," Russell read from the doggy diva preggo book. 

"Zozo, sit on the couch and rest, and watch some TV, I'll give you your doggie biscuits."

Zoe smiled and kissed him, "Oh I love you, Russell."

"Love you too," Russell blushed.
