Nova's pov
2 years later
Today is the day I marry the love of my life. Or so I thought. After I was with Sodapop for a year, Sandy came back and convinced him to get back together with her. I started dating a greaser named Sky Cloud. I know, what horrible person would do that to there child.
Honestly I still don't have an answer. He proposed after dating me for 3 months and I didn't have the heart to say no. But, now I love him, I think.
"Nova? you ready?" Steve asked. "No, yes, no, yes," I went back and forth. "Come on," He said. Raven, was my maid of honor, Evie Rory and Levi are my bridesmaids. Also Sky's sister, Alexa is a bridesmaid.
The music started and Steve linked my arm with his and walked me down the isle.
flashback to two years ago
"soda come on! you said you never dreamed of leaving me!" I yelled through my sobs. "Nova I didn't, but Sandy said the baby was mine along!" He said. "You said you never did it!" I yelled.
"She said I was drunk," He replied. "You don't drink!" I said not knowing how else to convince him. "I'm sorry Nova," He said and walked out.
back to present day
"If any objections, speak now or forever hold your truth,"The priest said. "Going once," He said. Nothing. "Going twice," Nothi- "I object!" Someone yelled. We all looked over. In the doorway there he was standing in a tux. Sky forbid him to come and he came anyway.
"How did he get in here?" Sky asked. "S-soda I-," I started not knowing what to say. "come on marry us!" Sky said. "Do you sky take Nova to be your wife?" "I do," "Do you Nova take Sky to be your husband?" "I-I can't," I said and Rory clapped a little bit.
"Sky I'm sorry," I said and ran out running passed Soda. Raven Levi Evie and Rory all running after me. I finally stopped in the middle of a sidewalk. They caught up to me and a million questions were thrown at me.
"How could you do that Sky's a great guy?" Evie said. "Did you do that because of Soda?" Rory asked. "Everybody shut up!" I yelled and I started sobbing. "I don't know where I went wrong!" I yelled and threw the vail into the street.
"N-nova?" A voice said. We all turned and once again, Sodapop. "I'm a terrible person," I said looking back to the white vail in the street. "If you didn't want to marry him then you did the right thing," Raven said.
They all made me walk back and apologize to the guests. All of Sky's family left and only the gang army mom and the gangs families were there. "Why waist a perfectly good wedding?" Soda asked. "What?" Everyone said. "I mean, Raven and Andrew are engaged, so are Sawyer and Levi, Evie and Steve," Soda said.
"I know someone in particular that I made a huge mistake ever leaving," he muttered. "if this is your way of proposing it sucks," I said and everyone laughed. "Nova, I should've known before that Sandy was lying to me about the baby, I just found out last week and didn't have the guts to tell anyone," Soda said.
"I love you and I always have, I only went with Sandy because I thought the kid was mine, I'm so sorry I ever hurt you but I know I've been miserable since I did and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you," He went on. "Marry me?" He asked after getting on one knee.
"I guess we can't just let this wedding go to a waist," I said and he kissed me. I finally felt alive again. "Ok move over you two," Dally said and whispered something in Darrys ear. Darry nodded.
"Wanna make it a five couple wedding and marry me?" Dally said taking Rory's hand. "That's such a Dally thing to do," I said and everyone laughed. "I'd be honored," Rory said.
Who knew that this is where I'd end up. Almost marrying someone I didn't love, then marrying the man I love on the same day as all my best friends and my brother.
6 years later
I was anxiously awaiting Sodapop arrival home from work. After what felt like years he walked in. "FINALLY!" I yelled and ran and grabbed his hand and dragged him into our room. "What what?" he asked laughing.
I ran into the bathroom and came out with a bag of clothes for him. He opened it and looked at the new clothes I got him. But he dropped them when he looked at the bottom of the bag.
"No, really?" he asked and I nodded. "We're having a baby?" he asked. "We're having a baby," I said and he hugged me tight and kissed me.
We ended up having twins. A boy named Grayson and a girl named Juliette. I've had the best life I could ever ask for. And I owe it all to Sodapop.
