Edgy. That's how Stiles had been acting since the night before. Incredibly irritable and tense. Everything was piling up on their shoulders and it was finally weighing them down. Not to mention the fact Aurelia practically broke up with him, even though they were never technically together. Driving to school, the Jeep was more or less silent. An odd word was spoken to each other about random things until Scott broke the vow. "There's got to be some other way to get tickets, right?" He asked as Stiles pulled into a space in the school parking lot. Scott was talking about the 'exclusive' party everybody was going to, which technically defeats the point of it being 'exclusive' — but nonetheless, it was horrifically overpriced.
"It's a secret show. There's only one way, and it's a secret." Stiles deadpanned, jumping from his seat and almost falling from Roscoe.
Stifling a laugh, Aurelia climbed out from the middle seat and accepted the hand Scott offered her, so she wouldn't meet the same fate as their other friend. "There's always another way. There has to be." Lia reassured, jumping onto the pavement and turning towards her boys with a gleaming smile. Morale is what they needed, so that's what she would bring.
"Hey. Either of you guys know why no one's getting suspended after what happened the other day at school?" Matt asked, walking up behind the three friends. His hair slightly greasy from not washing it, with darker circles decorating the underneath of his eyes due to lack of sleep.
"Just forget about it. Nobody got hurt." Stiles smiled, patting his shoulder and going to walk away when Matt spoke up again.
"I— I had a concussion." Muttering about how no one got 'seriously' hurt, Matt frowned at Stiles. "I was in the E.R. for six hours."
"Hey, do you want to know the truth, Matt?" Stiles huffed, hiking his backpack up his arm. "Your little bump on the head is about this high on our list of problems right now." Stiles spat, leaning down and hovering his hand mere centimetres from the paving stones. Aurelia grabbed his sleeve and yanked him up, pushing him behind her and facing a very pissed off Matt.
"Are you okay?" She asked, tilting her head empathetically.
"Yeah, I'm fine now." Matt sighed, turning to Scott more than Lia. "So you didn't get any tickets last night either?"
"Are they still selling?" Scott asked, shaking his head sadly.
"Uh, no, but I managed to find two online. You should keep trying. Sounds like everyone's gonna be there." Matt smiled, before walking away with a parting smile to the group.
"So then it's not really 'exclusive', is it?" Aurelia sassed, not paying attention to the subject at hand.
"I don't like him." Stiles deadpanned, watching after the boy with his back to them. "Hey, are you sure about this?" Stiles asked, turning to Scott who was smirking down at Lia.
"Last time, whoever's controlling Jackson had to kill somebody because he didn't finish the job, so what do you think he's going to do this time?" Scott asked with facts backing up his point, looking at Aurelia who placed a hand on Stiles' shoulder and began to speak.
"He'll be there to make sure his bitch gets it done."
Following the school day, Scott, Stiles and Aurelia made their way to Deaton's office. Having been told to meet him before the party for supplies, they entered through the side door. Standing around the cool, metallic table Deaton held up a small white canister — compact enough to be held with just his forefinger and thumb. "Ketamine?" Scott questioned, clearly familiar with the drug having worked with it before.
