Ross POV
Why would Riker forget about what happened between me and her. She's the last person I want at my engagement party! Riker walked away and she came up to me and Laura.
????: why hello Rossy.
Ross: only laura can call me that
????: who's that?
Ross: my fiancé
Laura: yea umm me...
????: ugh. Not you again.
Laura: yep it's me in the flesh and blood. And if you remember, he chose me over you.
????: I don't really care Laura
Ross: why are you here
????: why do you think I'm here. I'm here to celebrate my ex's engagement with my new boyfriend, who happens to be his brother.
Ross: you don't actually love Riker. Your just here to try and get me back
????: of course! Why wouldn't I. I still love you Ross.
Ross: well I love Laura not you Jessica
Jessica: oh Ross. Falling for someone who will use y-
Laura: I would never think about using Rossy in my life! So you can just shut your mouth there!
Jessica: only I'm allowed to call him Rossy
Ross: I don't think so. Only Laura is.
Jessica: I hate you so much Laura
Jessica smacked Laura's face. She didn't squeal, she just covered her cheek, with tears rolling down her face.
Ross: why would you do that to my laur
Jessica: because she isn't the right girl for you.
Ross: why are you so desperate to get me back
Jessica: because I still love you. And that stupid brother of yours is too dumb to notice that IM using him to get to you Ross. And he'll never know, until you get with me and I dump him.
????: leave now Jessica
We all turned as ???? Pushed Jessica out of the hospital garden

Riker POV
I went to the toilet and as I came back I saw Ross, Laura and Jessica arguing with each other. Why is Ross acting like that with her. All because she's his ex, and she's so over him. I saw Jessica smack Laura in the face. Why would she do that.
Ross: why would you do that to my laur
Jessica: because she isn't the right girl for you.
Ross: why are you so desperate to get me back
Jessica: because I still love you. And that stupid brother of yours is too dumb to notice that IM using him to get to you Ross. And he'll never kno-
That's it! I should have known I was being used to get to Ross. I stormed over there in anger and rage.
Riker: leave now Jessica
I grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the garden
Jessica: what's wrong my love?
Riker: YOU IS WHATS WRONG! Your just using me to get to Ross, and try and ruin his engagement to Laura
Jessica: oh Riker. I would never do that to you!
Riker: so all that I heard about you using me and me being dumb not to realise that you were using me, was all a lie?
Jessica: oh Riker. Took you long enough.
Riker: leave. I never want to see you again
Jessica: don't worry. I was gonna dump you anyway.
And she left. God, how foolish of me not to realise.

Laura POV
After Riker had realised that Jessica was just using him, he grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the garden. When he finally returned, he apologised.
Riker: I'm so sorry Ross. I should have seen that coming a mile off.
Ross: it's ok. The good thing is that you found out before things went wrong and Laura took it the wrong way, then I would have lost the love of my life. AGAIN.
I smiled and snuggled into his shoulder. Ross gently kissed my head. We continued with our engagement party. After a few songs, a voice emerged from the loud hustle. Stormie's voice came in through the microphone and out the speakers.
Stormie: hello. Hello everyone!
Everyone turned to Stormie.
Stormie: thank you! I'm so happy that my son has found love again. But this time someone that he knows he wants to be with and will do whatever he can to keep her by his side. I love seeing them two together. It warms my heart. So if everyone could raise their glasses.
I grabbed my glass and raised it. I grabbed Ross's hand with the other. Ross also raised his glass.
Stormie: to Ross and Laura's, or as we all call them, Raura's engagement. To Ross and Laura!
Everyone: to Ross and Laura!
Clinks of glasses could be heard all around. I turned to Ross. He looked down at me. A smile grew on his face.
Ross: to... Us!
He said slowly. I smiled back at him
Laura: to us!
We clinked our glasses together. Ross loosened the grip from our intertwined hands, and placed it around my waist. He pulled me close to him.
Ross: I love you babe
Laura: I love you too!
We turned our heads to the side, and leaned in until our lips met. I placed my arm over his shoulder, and pulled my body towards his. I was that close, that I could feel his abs on my chest. Our lips moved together, and we loved every second of it. As we were kissing, people finally realised we were kissing, and started to applaud. Soon enough, everyone at the party was clapping. We pulled away slowly, making sure the tips of our lips were the last thing to part. We looked at each other straight in the eye. We leaned in again, making our foreheads touch. A slow song started to come through the speakers. Rydel, Riker, Rocky, Ratliff, Stormie and Mark's voices came through the microphone.

Everyone applauded as they turned to us.
Ross: please someone take our drinks
He said as someone kindly took them off of us. Ross stood before me, and bowed. I giggled as he was being a gentleman
Ross: may I have this dance Laur
Laura: yes you may, my Rossy!
I placed my hand gently into his. He gripped my hand and pulled me to him. He wrapped his arm around my waist, as I placed my arm neatly over his shoulder. We joined our other hands and started to dance together.
Laura: this is just perfect Rossy.
Ross: you like it then Laur?
Laura: like it. I love it. It was just how I planned it. Getting engaged under a romantic arch or a romantic place, then having a little party afterwards. Although I wasn't expecting it to be in a hospital garden. It's still lovely though.
Ross: yea it wasn't going to be originally in a hospital garden. But as the day I planned to do it, you were in hospital I thought, why don't I do it now, so I did.
Laura: I think you do a brilliant job.
I reached up to him and pecked his lips. I pulled away slowly, feeling a little shiver from Ross.
Laura: it's perfect.
The song finished and I gave Ross a curtsy and Ross gave me a bow
Ross: shall we go and get a drink me lady?
Laura: I think that would be lovely.
Ross grabbed my hand and lead me to the drinks stand. When we got there, we had a few drinks, and a few kisses. The nurse came out from the doors
Nurse: Laura you need to come back now, you've been off the heart monitors for too long. We need to take you back to your room. After all, you did overdose, so we need to keep a look at your heart rate.
Laura: ok I'll be with you in one sec.
I walked over to Ross
Laura: Ross I need to go back upstairs, as I've been off the heart monitors for too long.
Ross: ok baby I'll be one second, I'll come with you.
Laura: you don't have to.
Ross; yes I do baby.
Laura: ok ok.
Ross walked over to Stormie
Ross: mum Laura has to go back upstairs, and be put back onto the heart monitors, can you get everyone ready to go, and leaving, and start getting everything packed away. I have to go with Laura.
Stormie: ok son
Ross: thanks mom
As we began to walk away, we heard stormie's voice on the microphone, one last time.
Stormie: right guys, Laura has to go now, so thanks everyone for coming, if you would like to make your way to the exit, and we will hopefully see you all soon. Thank you again for showing up and supporting Ross and Laura.
Everyone clapped as we walked further and further away. When we finally reached the doors to the hospital building, the nurse began talking again.
Nurse: so how did it go?
Laura: great. I was so surprised.
Nurse: and what did she say Ross?
Ross: she said yes.
I showed her the ring.
Nurse: very nice.
We made it back onto the ward I was staying on. She opened the door to my room. I carefully climbed onto my bed, and sat crossed-legged, on the mattress. The nurse hooked me back up to the heart monitor.
Nurse: there we go. I'll be back in a bit, to, check up on you.
Laura: thank you
As soon as the nurse left, Ross walked up to me.
Ross: I'm going to get a coffee. You get some sleep, and I'll be right back.
Laura: ok my baby
Ross: lay down and get some rest.
I laid down and snuggled into my blanket. Ross gently kissed my lips.
Ross: night baby
Laura: night Rossy.
When Ross left the room, I was out like a light.

Ross POV
I left Laura to get some sleep and went to get some coffee. When I got to the cafe, Laura and my parents were all there.
Dinamo: where's my daughter? Is she ok?
Ellen: Dinamo call down a bit.
Ross: she's fine Dinamo, she's just asleep, for a bit.
Ellen: ok, well she was a bit excited after what happened.
Ross: I know she was.
I walked over to the counter and ordered my coffee. Once I received my coffee, I sat down with my family and talked to them for a bit.
Ross: I'm gonna head back up to see Laura.
Dinamo: I want to go!
Ellen: Dinamo, honey, remember Laura and Ross have just got engaged, I think Ross and Laur might want some alone time.
Dinamo: fine. I'll see her later.
Ross: thank you Dinamo.
I shook his hand and headed back to the ward Laura was on.

I walked back. I looked into Laura's window, she was sleeping peacefully. I slowly opened her door, and shut it again. I watched her heart monitor. Mmmmm. Let's see if that theory of Laura's heart rate rising whenever we make out is true.
Laura slowly woke up and sat up in bed.
Laura: hello baby
Ross: hello Laur. How are you feeling.
Laura: not as tired now.
Ross: good, good.
I sat on the edge of her bed. Laura looked at me suspiciously.
Laura: what do you want?
God she knows me so well...
Ross: why would I always want something.
Laura: I can tell when you want something. When you stare at my lips, you want to kiss me, when you give me the puppy do face or say 'you know you love me!' You want me to buy you something. But it's mainly the kissing thing.
I smiled and leaned in towards her. Our faces were a few inches apart. Now time to test if this theory works. Laura's heart rate had gone up ever so slightly, just from getting our lips a few inches away from each other.
Ross: you know me so well
I said as I stared at her lips. She so knows me too well. It's true. Whenever I stare at her lips I want her to kiss me. It's like me. Whenever Laura bites her lip, I sort of get turned on, and I just wanna make out with her. And she always hugs me, looks up at me then gives me the puppy dog eyes, when she wants something.
Laura: I know that I know you so well. It's so I know when you want this...
As she finished her sentence she smashed her lips against mine. Our mouths moved together. I laid next to her on her bed. She snuggled up to me, still kissing me. I wrapped my leg over her legs. Things were getting seriously heated! We began to make out. As things got more and more heated from our make out session, I could hear Laura's heart monitor going up. So Rani was right. I make her heart rate go up. That's so sexy. Her heart rate went up more and more. It got to the point where the monitor was just making a long beeping sound. I pulled away, a little bit.
Ross: am I making you happy Laur?
Laura: how you know Rossy?
Ross: your heart rate monitor.
Laura: shit. I forgot that was there.
Ross: it's fine, I think it's sexy!
As we were talking her heart rate went down. We kissed again, and her heart rate went back up again. After 10 seconds she pulled away.
Laura: if we make out any longer Ross, the nurses will be worried and come in. And to be honest, I don't really want them to see us making out...
Ross: but baby
Laura: like I always say. Don't play the baby game on me.
Ross: but my baby Laur is super sexy.
Laura blushed like mad. Her heart rate went up again. Laura giggled.
Ross: awww baby
Laura: I love you so much
Ross: I love you too
We were centimetres away from kissing again, when Laura's family came in. I pulled my head away quickly.
Dinamo: Laura my baby
Laura: hey dad.
Laura's family hugged her. As Vanessa, Dinamo and Laura, were talking Ellen came over to me.
Ellen: you ok Ross?
I sighed
Ross: yea I guess.
Ellen: are you sure?
Ross: don't get freaked out by this bu-
Ellen: I won't.
Ross: when you came in, we were centimetres away from, making out
Ellen: I'm sorry love
Ross: it's all good. I'll have to kiss her later, when she goes back to my place. If that's ok with you?
Ellen: yea that's fine. You two are engaged now, so you need some time together. Don't tell Laura this, but, we have all, including your parents, helped payed for you to get a house. We have bought it and everything. It's gonna be part of Laura's birthday present, so don't tell her.
Ross: I won't Ellen.
Ellen: thanks Ross. Sorry about Dinamo, he couldn't wait any longer, her was worried about Laur.
Ross: it's fine.
