Gender Reveal

Laura POV
So today is the baby gender day. I can tell Ross is really bummed about this. He can't go as he has to rest but I have an idea to tell him as well as the rest of the family.
Laura: does I'm gonna drop you off at your mums today. All your family is there, and my family will be there later on.
Ross: why?
Laura: uh-uh f-family dinner...
Ross: Ok.
Laura: come on let's go!

I dropped Ross off at Stormie's and picked up Rydel. We drove to the hospital.
Rydel: you excited.
Laura: very. You got all the things we need to surprise Ross with the gender.
Rydel: yep some for each gender as we don't know yet.

We pulled up and headed inside. When we were finally called we entered the room, and the doctor I have always had for this baby, whist Ross was unconscious, was there waiting. She is such a lovely doctor to me. I layed down on the bed and as usual she put the gel on my stomach. The scanner ran over my stomach as Rydel and I watched the screen. I love the scans cause every time the baby changes.
Dr: Laura you excited to find out the gender?
Laura: very!
Dr: how's your husband?
Laura: he's out of hospital now, and at his mums as he couldn't come. But we are surprising him with the gender later, all my and his family are in on it!
Dr: that's lovely. Well I can see the gender. Its a-

We walked out the hospital with smilesc faces.
Rydel: you happy Laura?
Laura: yes and I'm sure he is too.
Rydel: of course he would be happy. It's his kid for crying out loud.
Laura: I know I know. I just doubt him sometimes you know?
Rydel: I understand Laura. Come on Laur let's go and surprise Ross.

When we arrived home Rydel and I grabbed the silly string that was the colour of the baby gender. Rydel rang stormie so she knew to have the camera out. We ran in and started spraying the silly string at Ross's face. He screamed as the "pink" silly string attacked him. All I could see was Rydel laughing her head off behind me with her camera out too.
Ross: Laura what the fuck!
Laura: hey guess what?
Ross: what?
Laura: see the colour
Ross: yes
Laura: what colour is it?
Ross: pink
Laura: what does that represent.
Ross: umm I don't know a girly day...
Laura: we are having a girl.

Ross face went from annoyed to excited in a matter of seconds. I saw everyone smiling then everyone clapping. Ross threw his arms around me and hugged me tightly. I could feel him screaming Into my shoulder. He eded away and kissed me.
Laura: you happy

I mumbled against our lips.

Ross: yes! OMG I'm so happy!!!!!
