The Job and the Mission

You walked back into the guild and climbing the stairs to the S-class mission board. You browsed through the jobs before randomly picking one. As you read the details you sighed in annoyance the job required two S-class wizards. As you descended the stairs you approached Erza, who was talking to her team members. "Hey Erza you wanna come on a job with me?" You inquired. "Sure (y/n) but my team must come with us," looking back at the group you slowly started to nod your head, "ok let's go meet back here in an hour and don't forget to pack."

*Time skip to the councils hideaway*

Everyone was at the guild waiting to head off to the unknown place. "Come on guys let's go visit the magic council!" Running ahead of the group you all jumped onto the train and rode it to the magic councils hideaway. As we were led into a large room by a frog person we began to hear talking. Walking up to the council men you received the details on the mission and began to walk out. "Thank you Rauko, and be safe we will need your powers soon." You heard the head council men's voice shout out as you stiffened at the name the citizens of Fiore had given you. Looking up at the group you noticed that they were all gone, most likely kicked out for being loud and obnoxious. Sighing in relief you ran out the doors to the entrance and meet back up with the group. "So (y/n) where are we goin?" Natsu inquired impatiently, "were going to Nuuruhuine" "where?" He asked again. "Pretty much Hell Natsu but down worry I'm one of the strongest wizards of all time, this will be a piece of cake!" As you confidently strode to the car provided you drove the group to Nuuruhuine.

Once you had arrived at the city you all began to search for the dark guild that plagued it. Using your powers you created a compass of dark flames to seek out the evil within each of the guild members. Splitting up into teams you all began to go after your targets, quickly whipping them out and returning the city to its original state. As you left the city you got another summons from the magic council. Splitting from the group you traveled to the council alone, upon your arrival you were given your new mission. "Rauko we need you to watch the Fairy Tail guild and keep them in line until we have a need for your powers, understood?"the head council man demanded of you. "Yes sir," you replied as you ran out of the council room and onto your own personal motorcycle.

*Magical time skip to when you arrive back at the guild*

When you walked back through the doors of the guild you walked directly to the bar to talk to Lucy since everyone was fighting again and you really didn't want to deal with it. "Hey (y/n) how was your meeting with the council?" "It was" your hand shot up as you caught a table that was flying your way, interrupting your and Lucy's conversation. Everyone had stopped fighting to stare at you in wonder as you set the table back where it belonged, "well Lucy it was ok those old people are way to uptight," you continued. "Wow (y/n) that was awesome how did you do that?!" "Well," you started nervously, "it's really just a habit my teacher taught me, she always said to be aware of my surroundings and would train me every day for most of the day." You then thought it through, "you know I don't think we even stoped training to sleep, we would usually just stay up and continue to train until that skill was mastered." "Wow (y/n) what was the longest amount of time you trained for without sleeping?" As you stumbled through your memories you remembered that the longest you had trained without sleep was 100 years. "Umm," you mumbled , "the longest I've trained for is five years, I haven't really slept at all since my adoptive parents died." As you stared down at your drink you felt a hand on your shoulder, "well then I guess were going to have to help you to sleep (y/n)." Erza stated plainly, "team Natsu we're all having a sleep over at (y/n) tonight." Looking at her in shock you slowly began to shake your head. "Let's do it," you said as the group cheered and left to prepare and meet back at your place for the sleep over at seven.

*Time skip to the sleep over*

Once everyone had arrived you popped in a movie and made popcorn, everyone was gathered in your living room waiting for the movie to start. You had picked out As Above So Below and watched as everyone cowered and cringed at the death scenes in the movie. Half way through the movie you got so bored you fell asleep only to be awakened by the sound of bickering and loud footsteps. As you opened your eyes you felt something heavy land on top of you, "Guys stop talking I'm trying to sleep." you mumbled and groaned pushing what ever was on top of you off and rolling over on the floor. Soon everyone began to fall asleep, and you having gotten the hour of rest you needed were now fully awake and more bored than ever. Slowly getting up and stepping over the sleeping bodies of your friends you walked outside to see that it was raining, controlling the water you created an umbrella and began to walk through the woods enjoying the smell and feel of the rain. As you walked through the forest you began to feel a presence following you turning around you saw a bush begin to shake and silently cursed yourself for letting your guard down. Jumping into a battle stance you ready yourself as your follower jumps out of the bush surprising you. You yelp as your eyes are covered and fall down bringing your attacker with you. " What are you doing....."

Sorry it took me so long to put this chapter out I was having trouble deciding where you were going to go on your first mission( Which by the way the name of the city is in elvish and means death shadow)
