Yena is....

FLASHBACK TO MINJOOS FIRST YEAR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL

Again just a boring day.... I thought I will find friends when I start going to the middle school but again I was too shy to talk to others and my classmates treat me like I'm air. I don't exist for them.

It wouldn't bother me that much if I didn't see how much people have fun when they're together with other people. They smile so beautifully! I want to smile like that too and not because I saw a funny movie.

But why don't I just talk to a classmate?? They haven't been mean to me. They only treat me like I don't exist, nothing more.

Yes! It's my time to try it!!

Right now, I'm sitting on my place in our classroom and look around. To who should I talk first??

Wait... what shall I say? I don't even know how to start a conversation... maybe I should do it like in the movies! But I just can't say anything....

To not say something wrong, I'll write a letter! With a letter, I don't have to speak!!!

I'm writing with a bright smile a letter.

The person I'm writing this letter for is my classmate.

Her name is...

....Choi Yena!

After finishing my letter, I stood up to bring her my letter.

"H-hi! Yena... here!" I said with holding the letter in front of her

She looks very confused but was about to take the letter until a boy next to her took it away...

The boy opens the letter and reads it out loud: "Hello Choi Yena! You probably have never paid attention to my existence like the whole class but I would like to be friends with you. I'm not good at words, only in letters so I wrote this letter for you."

Everyone is laughing....

"No one cares about you, just get it!" This boy said

"Hey! Give it back!!" Yena said

"Shut up female! Now I'll show you how much we care about Kim Minjoo!" This boy said while taking a lighter out.

He.... is burning.... my letter....

It's burning....

Suddenly, the burning letter takes over his uniform and now his uniform is burning. With lots of panic, he takes his uniform off and throws it around. Everyone is scared.

It didn't take long and now the fire is spreading to other objects...

The whole classroom is burning and I can't escape....

I don't have the strength to run...

I fell on my knees...

I just... wanted a friend.

Every classmate ran out of the room and a moment after this, the whole school escaped out of the building because the fire started to spread around other parts of the school.
