I won't let you go

[MINJOO POV]

I hate it here. Why does she have to see my face in that situation. Why does she have to see how my mother mistreats me. And better question.... what is she doing here? I made her father die! Just because I wanted to die, another person gave his life in exchange to keep me alive.

"Who the hell are you??" My mother asked her.

"Kim Chaewon, I-"

My mother cut her words with saying "so you are the girlfriend of my son? What I am doing to my daughter is none of your business!"

"Excuse me? You have to know that she is my friend!" Chaewon said

My mother suddenly starts laughing...

"A friend?? Since when does my useless daughter have friends? Someone who exposes my affair to my husband doesn't even deserve friends." My mother said.

While thinking about her friends, I realised something. Why am I the one who has nothing?? I never told any lies to someone. I never have been mean to someone but... my mother, who is my opposite, has everything what I desire to have...

"So this is what you think? Someone who always has been polite, kind and never tried to harm anyone deserves everything positive in this world. Just a reminder that Minjoo will probably achieve and reach big things in the future while someone like you who mistreats her family will lose everything. Do you want to know what my proof is?" Chaewon said

My mom answers with "yes" angrily

"You have lost your husband today and Minjoo has won me." Chaewon said

What she said... I am so touched... my heart is racing... she is so wonderful...

Wait- my mind was about to say something strange-

I was about say that... I love her.

"You BRAT" My mother had said before raising her hand to harm Chaewon but suddenly the police opened the door

"Ma'am, your arrested for child abuse."

My mother is getting arrested?! Why do I feel so bad about it...

All of sudden, I am feeling warmth after closing my eyes....

Chaewon is hugging me...

"It is okay to cry Minjoo. Cry in my arms, I won't let you go."
