[MINJOO POV]

My brother looked at Chaewon who was crying. He needs to realise what is happening right now and changes the direction of his view to me. His face forms into an angry mood.

With opening his mouth, he shouts: "Minjoo?! Did you make her cry?!"

I mean, technically I did... my explanation was too much for her I guess??

"I can't deny it but I didn't do something wrong! I swear!" I said to him with a serious face

"And how am I supposed to believe you?" He said with turning his face to Chaewon. He hugs her tightly but... she doesn't show any reaction to this. She doesn't hug him back. It's so weird... she can at least hug him back but she doesn't?!?! Really confusing...

When I had tried getting closer to them, my brother immediately said angrily "stay away!"

To be honest, it kinda shocked me. He's so mean to me just because of one random girl?!

"Thank you that you take more care of a random girl than of your own sister who is the only one from the family who gives you attention." I said to him with a pissed tone. Thinking about this, I decided to go outside. I am staying in front of our house now because I don't know where to go. I took my phone out to talk to my online friends.

Oh my god why?? Did your chocolate flavoured ice cream fall on the floor again?!

CHAEYEON
How many times did we tell you to take care of your ice cream??

It's something serious now! Well... my ice cream is serious as well but I gotta talk about something which is more serious! You know, my brother has a new girlfriend and at the beginning I was fine with this until I met the girl. It's a girl who is rumoured to be a bully back in her middle school. My brother left the house so I was left alone with this girl and we suddenly got into a deep talk (really don't remember how that happened jahdjsjdj) and my explanation why she acts like this made her cry and this was a very wrong timing because my brother entered the room at the same time ._. So he got mad at me without even knowing what happened and cares more about her than about his SISTER!? Now I'm outside in front of our house because I really don't know where to go y'all just live too far away...

Oh fuck- did you try to explain what happened??

I was about to type my reply to this but someone touched my shoulder from the back. Thinking of that this is probably my brother, I turned to the back and I was wrong. It's... Chaewon?! She's alone, my brother isn't with her..

"I told your brother that you and I were just talking about a very sad k-drama and remembering it made me cry. He wants to apologise but I told him to leave you alone because I saw you got really mad. I'm sorry that I came into your life like this. But you can't make me break up with him." She told me

Not gonna lie, this is surprising. She protected me? Even I made her angry and cry? That's too nice...

"You shouldn't be nice to me but thank you anyways" I said

"I just want to prove that I am not a bully how the rumours describe me. I want to show the truth..." she explained

"If you stay this cold, the mindset of our school mates won't change. You should be aware about this" I told her.

"Isn't it true that people can cause the emotions of other people?" She asked me.

"Oh well, yeah. It is actually true. It depends on you what kind of emotion you show but mostly other people can cause those emotions" I explained

"Since I don't have people around me who could cause emotions in me, it will be hard. But there is one person who caused emotions in me.." she said

"Oh?? And who is it?? Maybe you should spend time with this person!" I said to her.

She looks at me with an aura of high expectations. She then says "it's you. Do you want to spend time with me?"

This answer... made me speechless...

But what would people think about me? They would think bad about me...

Otherwise, this is a chance to find out about the truth of the rumours. Maybe she isn't that bad how she gets described!

I nod and say "sure! Let's be friends!"

Suddenly her face turns scared

"We can't be friends yet... I still need to know more about you before all those things happen again." She said

Well this was very unexpected... what did she experience??

"Uhm okay, I respect that. Let's spend time together first!" I said to her with a smile

All of sudden, a smile on her face appears...

...and this is the most beautiful smile I've ever seen in my entire life.
