"Are you going to look for another job?" I asked the girl in front of me who was currently looking back at the area we were once at. I frowned at the sad look her eyes were giving

This is all my fault

"I guess, but looking for one right now will be hard considering no one wants to hire me" I looked at her confused and she smiled as she saw the confusion plastered in my eyes

"That man" he pointed at the store we were just in "he has connections all throughout the business platform so I know he will tell the neighboring stores about what happened and to not hire me" she chuckled but even with her sweet smile she gave after I can hear the pain laced along her small laughter

"I'm sorry" I looked down, ashamed that I did this to her. Why am I always like this? Why do I always give trouble to other people?

Maybe it was true that I only bring misfortune to everyone that gets close to me

I felt a soft touch on my shoulder. Nayeon had placed her hand on me and it made me momentarily stop the thoughts that were clouding my mind

"Hey, stop blaming yourself. It wasn't your fault. I've always wanted to leave that store since then but was contemplating because I needed the job to support my family. Today just made me lose it. They don't deserve me, I know my worth" She told me confidently as she puffed her chest proudly. I laughed at her attempt in trying to make light of the situation

She's trying to look tough so I won't feel bad about what I did

"You're right, they don't deserve you. But I still blame myself for making this trouble so I want to help you. Do you know the Yang Company?" I asked and stared at her waiting for her reply.

She tilted her head cutely, she looks like a rabbit lost in the woods

"Yang? Who wouldn't know them, they are the richest and most successful company all over Korea but why do you ask?"

I grinned and puffed my chest, doing exactly what she did earlier, feeling proud for once

"Well I know someone who works there and they are looking for a secretary, why don't you go try your luck out? I'll even go with you tomorrow!" I was ecstatic. She will be the first person I helped. If she accepts this offer of course, but I mean who wouldn't? working for a company like the Yangs is already an honor

"Work there? but I heard they have strict regulations on who to employ, and I wouldn't want to burden you with this one. I already told you I'm fine and as much as I want to accept it, we just met an hour ago"

"Your mask...You're still wearing a mask, not to sound rude or anything but I don't know you or anything about you and as much as I like talking to you and feeling all friendly, I still don't know if your a serial killer or a wanted person of some sort..." she looked at me shyly, afraid to look me in the eyes.
