Machina
A machine of geometry
Portrays a message
From a bygone era
When gears and shapes
Made things go!
Circles, pentagons, squares
Triangles and stars
Combined with hearts
To define our world!
We remember these shapes
As a product of mathematics
And the cosine of a function
That defines an angle of perception
That exists in nature
But they also can be art!
A geometric sketch!
