Life
Being alive is bad for your health

Oceans of heated air envelop us in sickening hugs
Humid air scorches our fragile bodies like hell fire
Tiny smoke particles infect our lungs like they were poison
Mischievous mosquitoes sting us with parasites, sickening us
Hot bullets seek out our flesh and blood like vampires on drugs
Our star blasts us with a scorching fusillade of hot ions
Whirling winds blow our homes into debris like crazed devils
Bad chemicals poison our livers like evil life-sucking demons

We are on an inevitable voyage to become extinct

Even worse

Practical, affordable health care escapes us
Prices for needed commodities keep rising
But our salaries are not keeping up
Distracted drivers threaten our lives on the road
The financial markets are primed for failure
We are faced with hidden taxes continually

Many things can go wrong

Political disarray separates us
The Moon is slowly leaving us
The Earth's poles are about to switch
Climate change threatens our safety
Maybe we should just go and hide
Staying alive is excruciating hard work

You only get one chance at getting it right
So live it up before you're gone with the wind

That's life
