Babysitting Draco became Larissa's new favourite hobby, as it kept her away from all the things she despised.
She also felt safe in Malfoy Manor, even though she was surrounded by death eaters.
Being away from Voldemort for long hours at a time, made Larissa start to become more like her old self again, and she started getting some of her old fight back.
Voldemort noticed this change in her, but since he had originally fallen for her fiesty nature, he enjoyed spending time with her, since she wasn't as mopey and depressed all the time.As the year went on, Larissa fell into a new routine that she liked.
She split her time three ways, between; Draco and Narcissa, Peter, and Voldemort.
Peter's constant information on what the Order of the Phoenix was up to, allowed Voldemort to always be one step ahead.
But at the end of October 1981, Peter revealed a whole new piece of information, that changed everyone's lives forever."Peter has been made secret keeper for the Potter's, instead of my brother Sirius" announced Larissa as she returned home from an afternoon with Peter.
The effect this news had on Voldemort was instant.
"So, he can tell you where the Potter's are hiding?" Questioned Voldemort.
"He has already told me. He's also written it down on a bit of paper, in case we forget the address" replied Larissa.
"Well then, you had better hand it over".Larissa sighed and handed Voldemort the note Peter had given her.
"They are hiding in a cottage in Godric's Hollow, which is owned by James's family" revealed Larissa, saving Voldemort the trouble of reading the note.
"Well, this is excellent news. I thought wiping out the McKinnon's was wonderful, but this news is truly extraordinary. Tomorrow night I shall go and kill this threat to my rule, once and for all" announced Voldemort.
"You're really going to kill all of them?" Asked Larissa.
"I have no choice. The child must be destroyed, if I am to stop this prophecy from coming true. James Potter is also a threat, since he's a powerful wizard and a member of the Order"."What about Lily?" Questioned Larissa.
"I know that Severus wishes to make her his own, so for his sake I will offer the girl her life, if she stands aside and allows me to murder her son" admitted Voldemort.
"I don't think she's going to just let you murder her family, without a fight. Most mothers are extremely protective of their children" replied Larissa.
"If she does not yield, then I will of course, kill her as well. But let's hope it will not come to that. Once this Potter boy is dead, I will finally be able to take over the Ministry once and for all. All that we have worked so hard for, is almost here. I will bring about a glorious new world, and you will be at my side"."I am happy to serve you in anyway I can. I have been loyal to you for so many years, and I can't wait until we have accomplished what we set out to do. All the pain and sacrifice will have been worth it, once we have overthrown the corrupt and inefficial government" admitted Larissa.
She had been fighting for so long, that she longed for a time where she could walk down the street, without needing to wear a disguise. She wanted her freedom back.
And if Voldemort took over the country, he would be extremely busy, so therefore would spend less time with her, which is what she wanted."It will be a fabulous and glorious day when that happens. And I want you at my side as normal. In fact, I want you there with me tomorrow, when I kill the Potters. I will need someone to tell stories of my bravery and good deeds, and that someone is you. I do not wish for you to fight with me, so just stand back and let me do all the work" instructed Voldemort.
"It will be an honour to watch you perform amazing magic" replied Larissa.****
The following night, Larissa and Voldemort headed to Godric's Hollow, intent on wiping out the Potters.
When they entered the house they saw James ushering his wife and child upstairs, and promising to fight Voldemort off with no wand.
"Avada Kedavra" said Voldemort, as he pointed his wand at James, killing him stone dead.
Larissa couldn't help but feel awful as she walked past her brothers best friends body.
But she knew that she couldn't help the Potter's without getting killed as well.Voldemort unlocked the upstairs bedroom and walked inside, with Larissa at his back.
Lily was standing defensively in front of her sons cot, but she too was without a wand.
"Please don't kill him" she begged.
Larissa could hear the pain in her voice, but she knew that Lily's attempts to save her son were all in vain.
"Stand aside" instructed Voldemort.
"Please no, not Harry" Lily pleaded again.
"Stand aside you silly girl. You do not have to die here, since the dark lord is forgiving and merciful. So, get out of my way".Lily stood her ground and begged Voldemort once more.
"Take me instead, please, please let Harry live" she insisted.
"This is your last warning. Move aside" ordered Voldemort, who was getting annoyed by Lily's pleading.
Voldemort raised his wand towards her, but still Lily did not move.
"Avada Kedavra!" Shouted Voldemort, as green light exploded from his wand once more, killing Lily.Larissa tried her best to stay strong, afterall, she had watched Voldemort kill dozens of people. But somehow watching him murder the defenseless Potter's felt wrong.
She made the mistake of looking at the inquisitive child who was sat in his cot, watching the situation.
He was the same age as Draco, whom Larissa had spent a lot of time with. And she couldn't bare to watch the infant die, so she turned her head."I want you to see this" insisted Voldemort.
Larissa had no choice but to turn her head and look back at the child.
"Goodbye, Harry Potter. Avada Kedavra!" Yelled Voldemort.
As the green light shot out of his wand and hit Harry, something went wrong.
The curse rebounded, striking Voldemort instead.
Voldemort's body was destroyed, ripping his soul apart and sending bits of it flying across the room.
A part of Voldemort hit Larissa in the head, causing her to drop the floor and scream in pain.Larissa could no longer think straight, and she was in more pain than ever before.
Voldemort's spirit then latched onto her body, muddling Larissa's mind even further.
She couldn't see or hear anything, so she grabbed Voldemort's wand which was lying beside her, and pushed herself up into a standing position.
From what she could make out, Harry was dead, as he wasn't moving.
So she decided to get out of the house as quickly as possible, and hide somewhere until she could figure out what had happened. Her body wasn't functioning properly and she was in a lot of pain, for reasons that she couldn't understand.
Voldemort's body had been destroyed, somehow. But now his soul was inside Larissa, and he had access to her every thought.
Larissa wasn't sure how long she could hold Voldemort's soul inside her own body, before it destroyed her.
