The months dragged by for Larissa, and she dreaded the night as that was when Voldemort returned and used her body.
When winter arrived, Larissa was forced out of the Riddle manor. They weren't allowed to light anything inside the house, in case the Muggle caretaker noticed. And as the nights got colder, Larissa started to freeze as she couldn't light a fire.
This is why Voldemort moved her to a small cottage in the middle of nowhere.
It was a big step down from the manor, and it only had a couple of rooms.

Larissa was once treated as a princess by the dark lord, but she had become his servant.
It was her job to cook and clean, making sure the house was kept in perfect condition.
She had turned to Voldemort to avoid becoming someones wife, and she had ended up becoming the very thing she had been trying to avoid.
But Larissa was far too scared to voice her concerns to Voldemort.
The gifts he used to get her had stopped coming, and he no longer pleased her before fucking her as hard as possible.

Voldemort had begun taking his anger out on her during the day, when things did not go his way.
If a mission failed, he would beat her senseless, before apologising later.
Larissa's face was covered in bruises, old and new.
But since she was used to being beaten by her mother, this type of pain didn't bother her.

One evening near Christmas, Larissa noticed a new death eater at the table.
Even though he was wearing a mask, Larissa recognised her little brother instantly.
And when the meeting was over, she grabbed hold of him, and pulled him into a nearby empty room.
She then took off her mask and threw her arms around him.
"I've missed you" admitted Larissa.
Regulus removed his own mask and patted Larissa's back.
"And I've missed you too" he replied.

"What in Merlin's name are you doing here?" Asked Larissa as she released her brother.
"The dark lord sought me out and asked me to join him" revealed Regulus.
"He never told me about it" frowned Larissa.
"Probably because he knew you would argue against me joining"
"Of course I would. You're just a child. You're far too young to be getting involved in all this. You are still at Hogwarts afterall"
"You were at Hogwarts when you joined"
"That's different".

Regulus laughed, "So, there's one rule for you and one rule for me".
Larissa frowned, "I was older than you when Voldemort asked me to join the cause. And I didn't get my dark mark or attend any meetings until I had finished school".
"Well, the dark lord wants me to do what you did. He wants me to tell him who will be loyal to him when they leave school. Since there's a lot of new people who've started school since you left. But unlike you, he also wants me to attend missions" admitted Regulus.
"I still think that you are too young to be worrying about all this. But if the dark lord wants you to join him, then you really didn't have a choice"
"No, I didn't".

"Mother and father must have been so pleased when you told them that you were a death eater" Larissa said quietly.
"Yes, they were very happy" admitted Regulus.
"I'm sorry I was so hard on you before I left. You didn't ask for our parents to treat you differently. You didn't ask to be the favourite son" replied Larissa.
"No. Since you and Sirius were the rebellious ones, I didn't really have any other choice. I had to be the good one"
"I know. And I'm sorry for taking my anger at how they treated me, out on you"
"That's alright. I should have been more sympathetic towards you"
"I guess we both made mistakes"
"Yes, we did".

"Have mother and father mentioned you marrying anyone yet?" Asked Larissa.
"They spoke about how me and Alecto would make a good match. Since the Carrow's aren't very happy with us, as you ran away from your engagement to Amycus. Our parents think it would be good if I healed the rift between our families by marrying Alecto" revealed Regulus.
"Ah, I'm sorry about that" apologised Larissa.
"They haven't said anything definite about me marrying her yet. But it is quite likely that I will end up with her"
"I hope you don't, for your sake, because she really is a stuck up cow"
"She's not that bad".

"I expect things are quiet at home now" sighed Larissa.
"They are. Which is why I like it when I get to go back to Hogwarts" admitted Regulus.
"When I was at school I wanted nothing more than to leave and start my life as a death eater. Now, I would give anything to go back there" replied Larissa.
"What's it like having your own place? It must be nice, right?".
Larissa bit her lip awkwardly and took a deep breath.
"Since you're one of us now, I might as well tell you the truth, since you're bound to find out one way or another... I don't live on my own. I live with Voldemort" informed Larissa.

"What, like as his servant?" Questioned Regulus.
"It feels like that sometimes, but that's not my official title. I'm his lover" revealed Larissa.
"You're in love with the dark lord?" Asked Regulus.
"Yes. Since I met him all those years ago, I have been infatuated with him. And now he is mine, and I am his"
"You're not married are you?"
"No. Voldemort doesn't do marriage. But we do everything that a normal couple does"
"No wonder you didn't want to marry Amycus, you had already fallen for someone else"
"My body belongs to Voldemort. He would hate it if I had been forced to get married. Because then I wouldn't belong only to him".

"Are you happy, now that you're with him?" Asked Regulus.
"Of course I am. He's all I've ever wanted" lied Larissa.
"You can't lie to me Larz, I know you too well" admitted Regulus.
"I love him, more than life itself. I don't know what I'd do without him. He means everything to me"
"But are you happy with him?".
For a moment, Larissa wanted to tell her brother the truth about how she felt. She wanted someone to know about her pain.
But she quickly pushed the thought from her mind.
Even if she told Regulus, she knew that he would not be able to help her, for he was only a child.

"I'm fine. Now, it's time you went home and I returned to Voldemort's side" announced Larissa, as she placed her mask back over her face, so that she could hide how she was really feeling.
"Alright. I guess I'll see you soon" mumbled Regulus, as he put his own mask back on.
"Yes... And Regulus, Happy Christmas" replied Larissa.
"Happy Christmas".
