With Voldemort's help, Larissa was easily able to manipulate Peter Pettigrew.
And within a month he had started giving her information, which she passed onto the dark lord.
This information led to the deaths of numerous Order members; like Benjy Fenwick, Edgar Bones and Fabian and Gideon Prewett.
As Larissa learned how to manipulate Peter, she realised that Voldemort had used the same tricks on her, to get her to love him.
Knowing that she had been a fool, made Larissa feel like shit. But even though she knew the truth, it didn't change her situation. As she still had to live with Voldemort, since she had nowhere else to go.
However, Voldemort couldn't hurt her without healing her before she went out, as Larissa had told Peter that Voldemort cared about all his followers, so they had to keep up the pretence.

Although Larissa didn't love Peter, she started to like him as he was always nice to her, and he brought her gifts, often homemade food.
She permitted him to kiss her cheek, but she never allowed the relationship to go further than that.
Voldemort didn't want Peter to touch her, and since she did not love him, she didn't want to sleep with him.
Larissa found it hard to be with Peter, as she was manipulating him and not being honest. Everything she did with him was an act.
But since she had promised Voldemort that she would complete the mission, she could not back out.

Even though Larissa hated hurting Peter, she enjoyed his company, as being around him, allowed her to spend less time with Voldemort. And Larissa was grateful for any time she got to be away from the dark lord.
"I think I know how you can get to Marlene McKinnon, with Peter's help" announced Larissa, as she entered the house one evening.
She would have continued talking, if it weren't for the strange look on Voldemort's face.
"What's happened?" Asked Larissa, nervously.
"I'm afraid I have some bad news" answered Voldemort.

Larissa's heart sank, "What kind of bad news?".
"Your brother, Regulus, is dead" revealed Voldemort.
"Don't say that, of course he's not" snapped Larissa.
"He is. I know this, because he was killed on my orders".
There was something about the way Voldemort spoke about Regulus's death, that made Larissa doubt him.
"You're lying. Regulus isn't dead, he can't be. You have no reason to kill him. He's a loyal death eater" insisted Larissa.
"He was. But he ran away like a coward. I do not allow my followers to simply leave, so I had some loyal death eaters track him down and kill him" replied Voldemort.

Larissa sunk to her knees, unable to take in the information.
"Regulus is dead" she whispered.
"Yes. I understand that this might be upsetting for you. But you must understand that I had no choice. I cannot allow those who follow me, to leave on a whim. I had to make an example of him, to deter others from doing the same" admitted Voldemort.
"Regulus was loyal to you. He is not a coward. He would never run away" replied Larissa.
"But he did, and you cannot change the past or alter what he did. What's done is done, and we must move on".

Voldemort approached Larissa and placed his hand onto her shoulder, but she recoiled at his touch.
"Leave me alone" spat Larissa, as tears streamed down her face.
"I know you are grieving, but feeling upset is no good for anyone. Your tears will not bring your brother back" replied Voldemort.
"I know that. But I've just found out that my brother is dead, so I am going to cry... You should go, since I'm not in the right frame of mind to deal with you right now" admitted Larissa.
"Very well, I shall leave you alone to mourn your brother".

Larissa cried for her brother all night, leaving her pillow damp from all her tears.
She couldn't deal with Peter or Voldemort that week, so she avoided them both.
Voldemort seemed to know that trying to fuck Larissa while she was grieving was not a good idea, so he left her alone all week.
When Regulus's funeral arrived, Larissa had to watch the ceremony take place from the shadows, as she was a wanted witch who couldn't be seen in public.
Sirius had been cast out of the family, so he hadn't been allowed to attend the funeral either.

Larissa was staring at Regulus's headstone after the funeral, when Sirius joined her.
She had a black veil over her face, but this didn't stop Sirius from recognising her instantly, as he knew her so well.
"I wasn't sure if your master was going to allow you to leave your prison to come here today" said Sirius.
"It is a house, not a prison, and I can leave it any time I please, as long as where I'm going is not dangerous" replied Larissa.

"I wanted to attend the funeral earlier, but our dear mother told me that she'd put me in the ground too, if I dared to show my face" revealed Sirius.
"Such a wonderful woman" mumbled Larissa sarcastically.
"Yes, she is... I don't suppose you know how Regulus ended up getting himself killed? I've asked around in the Order, and no one as admitted to killing him. So, how did he end up dead before either of us?" Questioned Sirius.

Larissa bit her lip and sighed, "He was killed on Voldemort's orders, for trying to get out. I think he realised that he had gotten in well over his head, and tried to run away. I did try to warn him before he got involved in all this, that there is no way out, once you're in, but he didn't listen".
"Your own master killed our brother, and yet you still choose you follow him" frowned Sirius.
"I don't choose him, I choose to live. And if I leave, I will end up in the ground beside Regulus, which is something I would like to avoid. Staying with Voldemort, keeps me alive, so I am not going to leave him" replied Larissa.

"It sickens me that you value your own life so highly, that you are willing to follow a terrorist, just to stay alive" admitted Sirius.
"Not all of us are as fearless as you. I'm just doing what is necessary to stay alive... I should probably get back to him now" sighed Larissa.
"Yeah, you don't want to make your master worry about you, since you're his favourite pet" sneered Sirius.
Larissa glared at Sirius, "You have no idea what I've been through, so you don't get to comment on my life or my choices. I will do things my way, and you should keep your nose out of other people's business".

"I'm done caring about you, so you don't have to worry about me interfering in your life anymore" informed Sirius.
"So, this is it, is it? We've lost Regulus, and now we no longer care about each other?" Questioned Larissa.
"You've made it almost impossible for me to care about you. You're a death eater, and you choose to be one, to avoid death. I cannot support someone who makes such bad life choices, like you" replied Sirius.
"You may not like my life choices, but they are mine to make... And even though you might hate me me, I will never stop caring about you".

Sirius sighed, "I don't hate you. I could never hate you. But it's not good for me to be around you, and watch as he breaks you into a million pieces, and turn you into a shadow of your former self. It's probably best if we don't see each other again".
"I guess that arrangement will work best for both of us. I know that you aren't afraid of death, but promise me that you will be cautious, and won't join Regulus any time soon" begged Larissa.
"I don't plan on meeting death just yet" reassured Sirius.
"Good. Well, goodnight Siri, and goodbye"
"Farwell Larz. Try and keep yourself safe, even though it's unlikely that you will be able to"
"I'll try. I promise that I will try"
"I suppose that's the best I can ask for".
