Voldemort was desperate to get his hands on a recording of the prophecy regarding him and Harry Potter.
This meant that he was not paying much attention to Larissa, and she was able to have numerous lessons with Severus, without him finding out.
Once Larissa was certain she could protect her mind from invasion, she gave Severus a time and place to pass on to her brother.
She planned to meet Sirius at night in a park that they used to hide in as kids, to escape from their mother's wrath.

Larissa arrived early to make sure the place was secure before sitting down on a park bench to await Sirius's arrival.
She waited for 30 minutes before realising that her brother was not going to turn up.
Disappointed by the outcome, she got up and began to head to a more private spot to disapparate.
"Don't leave on my account".
Larissa spun around and saw Sirius standing in front of her.
He had still been a boy at heart when she last saw him, but now she saw a man in front of her.
Neither of them moved for several moments, until Larissa couldn't take it anymore and ran towards her brother.

Larissa threw herself into Sirius's waiting arms.
"I've missed you so much Siri" admitted Larissa as she held back the tears.
"You too Larz" replied Sirius.
Larissa let go of him and took a step back.
"For someone who spent 12 years in Azkaban, you don't look that bad" commented Larissa.
"You should've seen me when I first escaped. I was a mess"
"I haven't always looked like this either. It's only recently that I've been able to take pride in my appearence".

"Since Voldemort returned?" Questioned Sirius.
Larissa nodded, since she knew there was no point in lying to her brother.
"Yes. Before he got his body back, he used my body as a vessel. It's only now that I have control over my body again" revealed Larissa.
"So, all this time, you've been with him?" Asked Sirius.
"I'm afraid so. Me and him were one and we could not be parted. I couldn't perform the magic he needed to regain a body, while he was inside of me. So, we were just stuck together until Peter found us".

"Don't mention that filthy traitor around me" snapped Sirius.
Larissa bit her lip awkwardly, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry that he betrayed you all and I'm sorry for the part I played in it".
"What do you mean?" Frowned Sirius.
"It was me who turned Peter into a death eater, at Voldemort's request" answered Larissa.
"You did what!"
"He wanted a spy in the Order, and Severus mentioned Peter to him. Voldemort made me manipulate Peter and bring him over to our side. But I swear to you that I never forced him to do anything, I only ever encouraged him. And I never asked him about the Potters, since I didn't really want them to die. He gave up James and Lily voluntarily, without being prompted".

"You might not have forced him, but you manipulated him to do Voldemort's bidding, which is the same thing" spat Sirius.
"I'm sorry, but I didn't have a choice. Back then I did whatever he asked of me, in order to stay alive. And when he was giving me tips on how to manipulate Peter, I realised that he had used the very same tactics on me, to get me into his bed. But even though I knew I had been manipulated, there was nothing I could do about it. If I left him, I would end up dead like Regulus" admitted Larissa.
"He still uses you as his fuck toy then and keeps you in his bed?"
"No not anymore?".

"Why, has he grown bored of you?" Questioned Sirius.
"It's not like that. Even though Voldemort has his body back, a part of his soul resides in me. So when he tries to be intimate with me, he ends up grossing himself out. He says it's like having sex with himself, which is apparently very strange and unappealing" answered Larissa.
"He really is a strange man, most men would love the sound of that"
"That's probably because he is not a man at all, he is something more".

"Still, I bet you're glad that you don't have to sleep with him anymore" admitted Sirius.
"Glad is an understatement. I'm thrilled that I don't have to be raped on a daily basis. And since he doesn't want to damage the piece of his soul in me, he doesn't want to hurt me either... He doesn't want me around now, because he's not sleeping with me. But he also doesn't want me doing anything dangerous or going too far away, since I am very valuable to him. So I have some freedom back, but I still belong to him" replied Larissa.
Sirius placed his hand onto Larissa's shoulder, "I'm pleased that he doesn't abuse you anymore. He killed me to see him use you like that. I'm happy to see that you have some of your old fight back".
"Thanks" replied Larissa.

"So, he doesn't know that you're here now though?" Asked Sirius.
"Don't be stupid" answered Larissa.
"I was just checking... Harry mentioned you. He didn't know who you were though. I couldn't be sure it was you, from his description, but seeing you now, I'm sure that it was you who let him escape from the graveyard" informed Sirius.
"I will not confirm or deny what you say... What did you tell him about me?"
"I told him that you were a death eater, but that deep down you were a good person".

"Thanks" mumbled Larissa.
"You're welcome. I have to admit that showing him our family tree was embarrassing, since everyone on there is awful" admitted Sirius.
"So, you're living back at home?" Questioned Larissa.
"I'm not the secret keeper, so I can't tell you anything" informed Sirius.
"That means that I can't tell Voldemort where you are. And even though I know where my family home is, I would not be able to see it, even if I was standing right in front of it"
"It should be yours. You're the oldest in our family, now that mother and father are dead"
"I certainly never want to step foot in that grim old place ever again. And I feel sorry for you, having to live there"
"I'm not exactly surrounded by warm happy memories, that's for sure".

"If Harry saw our family tree, then he must be living with you too" said Larissa.
"He is now, after that Dementor tried to take his life" admitted Sirius.
"I read about that in the paper" replied Larissa.
"You mean your dark lord didn't tell you about it in person?"
"Voldemort did not send a Dementor to attack Harry. Not only does he have no idea where Harry is, but he wants to kill Harry himself. So there is no way he sent a Dementor after the boy".

"Then where did the Dementor come from?" Asked Sirius.
"I don't know. But since they are still under the control of the Ministry, I would hazard a guess that someone from the Ministry sent it" informed Larissa.
"Come off it. Why would the Ministry want to kill Harry?"
"I'm not saying that they do. But they do want to shut him up, so that he can't tell everyone that Voldemort is back. And getting him kissed by a Dementor would certainly do that".

"I suppose you've got a point... Why did you want to meet me today?" Questioned Sirius.
"I wanted to see my brother, who I haven't seen in 15 years. I didn't think that I needed an official reason" answered Larissa.
"So, you weren't thinking about swapping sides and becoming a spy?"
"No. And you should know better than to ask me"
"I just thought that since you saved Harry, and you decided to meet me, that you might have reconsidered where your loyalty lies"
"Helping Harry was a split second decision. And not wanting to watch a 14 year old boy die, is not the same as wanting to join the Order of the Phoenix".

"But surely you don't want Voldemort to take over?" Quizzed Sirius.
"I'm not going to answer that, because I can't. I'm a death eater. I made my choice many years ago, and I can't go back" admitted Larissa.
"Yes you can, it's not loo late. That slimy git Severus did awful things in the first war, yet he turned to our side and Dumbledore defended him in court. Severus has not been reprimanded in anyway for his past crimes. And if you joined us now and acted as our spy, Dumbledore could protect you too".

"You begged me to join you once before, but my answer is going to be the same now as it was then. I can't join you. Voldemort is too strong. He can't be beaten. Dozens of Order members died last time, and I will not be one of them. I'm not a brave and courageous Gryffindor like you. I'm just a girl who is too afraid to die doing the right thing" revealed Larissa.
"So, you won't help your own brother? Do you really want me to join Regulus?" Questioned Sirius.
"I don't want you to die... And I will do whatever I can to stop that from happening".

"You'll help then?" Asked Sirius.
"I will not be a spy... But if I hear things that might put you in danger, then I might let you know" Larissa said quietly.
"Thank you" replied Sirius.
"This must stay between us. No one is to know"
"They won't"
"I don't want you asking me to do anything for you, because I will refuse. I will not help you or the Order. But I will drop you hints, where I can, that could save your life"
"I guess that's all I can ask for".
