Euthymius looked at his brother with disbelief clouding his expression.

He thought he had fooled his brother about what happened during the battle, well he supposed he didn't really was that efficient at the choice of his words.

"Are you serious Aro?" The charcoal haired boy asked with a fury he hadn't felt since his sadistic period, he swore he could rip his brother's head off at that moment.

Said male, simply smiled innocently at him and looked at the Romanians that stood a little behind his brother with a certain disgust.

"Well you see, dear...." He drawled before looking at the furious male in front of him."...it is against our laws to keep mates apart. You should know, you and Marcus were the ones that created it. "

If looks could kill, Aro would be dead by now. Euthymius snapped completely at the mention of the law, he slowly made his way to the throne where his brother sat, his eyes never leaving the other.

The ruler immediately fought what he was trying to do and was quick to close his eyes and turn his head in a different direction to avoid Euthymius' power.

"Open your eyes." He ordered, his figure shadowing the ruler in the throne.

"No." His brother said bravely. Euthymius was confused at first but then he catched up with Aro's thoughts.

"You really think I would go that low? To avoid the law?" He scoffed and looked to the ceiling, his brother hearing his words opened his eyes and lower his head in shame.

"Understand I'm doing this for your own good, brother." As soon as those words left Aro's mouth, Vladimir let out a laugh of disbelief as Stefan quietly gasped.

"You're his brother?" The angelic voice of the blonde echoed, the bitterness was dripping from every word he spoke, Stefan, that was by his friend's side glared at the blond and hitted him with his elbow.

Euthymius ignored the chills he felt as he heard his mate's voice and looked towards Marcus that was reading in his throne silently begging him to convince Aro not to proceed with his will.

Marcus simply raised his eyebrow before getting back to his book.

"Vladimir and Stefan will be staying with us permanently, so you better get used to them. They will be staying in the free rooms on your wing."

Euthymius slowly looked down, not wanting to continue in the same room as those killers, he just wanted to get out of that room.

He made his way towards the door not waiting for the other two, before stopping at the doorway.

"It's a bit ironic, isn't it, Aro? You seem so keen in our laws yet you seem to have forgotten how you ignored our law of not advancing into conclusions before having clear evidence. I guess immortals can forget things as well." His voice held sarcasm and his face expressed his discontent with the hypocritical ways of his older brother, however a grin was on his face.
