Gwen's POV

I woke up the next morning on my hammock with Newt's shirt on. I sat up looking around but nobody was there. Then I remember the doors to the maze were to open soon. I walked to the maze door where everyone stood.

"Gwen?" Chuck asked looking at me with wide eyes.

I looked around at all the boys staring at me. I look down seeing that I had no pants on Newts shirt was just covering my ass.

"I-" I was cut off by Newt standing in front of me blocking me from the boys.

"Eyes off now." He said harshly.

They all turned their eyes focusing back on the maze.

"What the hell Gwen?" He whispered in my ear.

"I didn't know I didn't have pants on." I bark back.

He groans shaking his head. He grabs my waist blocking me from everyone else. The doors of the maze made a loud noise. We all look inside as we wait for someone to appear. Chuck stood there faithfully waiting for the boys to return. The sun was beaming down on us. We walk over to him.

"I told you Chuck, nobody's coming back." Newts says sadly turning with me still by him.

Chuck shushing him when the doors open there was nobody in sight. Everyone starts to leave we were all sad we lost 2 very important people to the maze, oh ya and Thomas.

"Look! No way." Says Zart.

"Yaaa!" Yells Chuck making us all turn around. "Wow!"

Thomas and Minho walk out of the maze with Alby in between them but Alby wasn't walking he was being carried by the two boys, we help set Alby to the ground.

"You saw a griever." Chuck said knowing what happen to Alby.

"Ya I saw one." Thomas said.

"He didn't just see it, he killed it." Minho says.

We all look at him. How the hell did Greenie kill a griever? We were all speechless.

We were all gathered to discuss what happens to Thomas since he broke one of the rules.

"Things are changing there's no denying it. Ben getting stung in broad daylight. Then Alby. Now our new Greenie here has taken it along himself to go into the maze a clear violation of our rules." Gally spoke, I stood next to Thomas rubbing his back.

I wasn't aloud to speak, I was to stay by whoever was in trouble and comfort them. Maybe because I was a girl or maybe because everyone knew that if I were given a real job Gally would tear off their heads.

"Ya but he saved Albys life." Fry added.

"Did he? Look I'll be the first to admit what he did was impressive but were in uncharted territory here. For 3 years we've coexisted with these things. And now you.." he points at Thomas, "killed one of them. Who knows what happens now."

"What do you suggest we do?" Newt questions.

"He should be punished he should be put into the pit." Gally puts his foot down.

"Come on Gally." I spoke softly.

He just turned and stared at me.

"He broke the rules." He says aloud but I knew it was more towards me.
