CHAPTER 4

this chapter starts with naira entering the college after leaving kairav to baby-care center.  she enters the college

how will i face him today ? i just hope he dosn't snatches kairav from me . if he does that  i will die for sure. what is my first class , i just hope it's not business management . well it is , so the morning starts with his face in my class, it is something i am not looking forward to . i don't have the energy to face him !

she enters the class , she sits beside tanvi and starts reading the chapter while tanvi and kunal spoke;

tanvi : naira

naira : hmm

tanvi : kairav kaisa hain? kal bhot cranky ho gaya tha na

naira: haan voh ab theek hain , tu stress mat le

kunal: stress toh tu leti hain har choti se choti baat ke liye . kal bhi kitna pareshaan ho gayi and i bet raat ko bhi ache se nahi soyi hui hogi

tanvi: haan

naira: nahi guys aisa kuch nahi hain

tanvi : aise kuch nahi ka kya matlab hain naira? kahaan hain teri family ? where is your husband? why are you staying here in mumbai all alone for 2 years?

naira: guys we will talk later about it

tanvi : par naira

naira: par ar kuch nahi tanvi .  i told you guys that we will talk later

tanvi: theeke naira but please tell us  what had happened in your past because we know it that it is something big

naira : hmm ok

the trio ended their conversation while kartik entered the class . they both had their awkwardness in between . they both were stealing glances of each other and thinking how much they have changed in these 2 years. 

kartik : i have a suprise test for you today.

kunal: but sir on your first day

kartik : yes , actually i wanna know what is the average of my class

naira pov

kyun kar rahe ho kartik aisa . mujhse badla lena chahte ho na. toh le lo but please baaki sab ko toh baksh do .

this test will be a proof naira , if you have moved on or not.

kartik distributes the paper and gives them 15 minutes to write it . he was constantly stealing glances of naira's paper but naira bieng naira , she covered her paper more . the time had ended , but naira was still not done. when everyone submitted the paper and left , she gave her paper

kartik : i am sorry ms. singhania but i can't accept it now, the time is already up

he said this stressing on ms singhania

naira : kartik voh

kartik : kartik SIR !!

naira : sir pehle toh app ek suprise test lete hain aur phir aap paper accept he nahi karte . yeh kya baat hui . see if you want to accept this do it varna i will just tear the paper right away no use of it then

kartik : toh phir aap pehle vala option choose karke mujhe paper de he dijiye

naira : thank you

as naira was moving out of the class , kartik spoke from behind

kartik: so kaisi h aap bohot khush hongi na mere bhai ko marke

Naira:zabaan sambhal ke kartik

Kartik:correction ms.naira its sir for u

Naira:sure sir i will keep in mind n u too fit in ur mind that u r sir over here not my husband or relative got it SIR!!!!

they both went to their house back . naira spent the rest of the day playing with kairav and cursing her fate . while kartik was reminscing his memories with naira. at night , they both were in the balcony , kartik was drunk  while naira was crying .

kitna badal gaye ho tum kartik. the kartik whom i fell in love is lost somewhere . there was a time when you did not even took revenge from me but loved me but now , you are taking revenge on me for the thing i have never even done . well the kartik who trusted me in raghav's case , that kartik was the one whom i fell in love . but this side of you , it's just devastating . i still love you kartik but the fact is you hate me. that day i was pregnant vut you did not listen to me even once. leave you not even my own family listened to me . i know i should tell you about kairav but what if you don't even accept him.

itne door ho gaye hum naira . kyun why did you not tell me about shubham's addiction? don't you trust me . you killed my brother . you killed my mom's heart . you killed me naira. how can you do that. and why are you even here ? i feel so disgusted at myself for loving a person like you. but why god ? why do i feel there is pain in her eyes ? she was not the naira whom i fell in love with . the naira whom i fell in love with was bubbly,cute and smiling but this naira , she looks mature, pain in her eyes , it can be told that she never smiles. i know somewhere deep down in my heart i still love you naira but i hate you . you..are...the reason my brother is not with me . i hate you
