CHAPTER 24

the chapter starts with kartik sitting on his bed the story has taken a leap of a few days and its just 2 days before kairav's birthday and the sparkle of goenka house was vanished from the day naira was no where to be found . we can see kartik sitting on the floor with his hands on his face , and crying for naira 

kartik : naira where are you please come back  without you i am nothing naira please come backk kairav needs you i need you our family needs you naira without you we are nothing i am sorry maine pata nahi kya kar diya hain uss din tumhein itna hurt kar diya tumhein kya kya nahi bola i am sorry i am sorry naira please maaf kar do mujhe i am so sorry naira i miss you 

yes naira left him that day because kartik crossed his limits the goenkas and the singhania's did not found her they searched for days , they are still searching but they couldn't find naira anywhere . in these few days kartik only smiled for kairav while kairav also use to cry and sometimes kartik could not handle him thanks to gayu who did that .  kartik used to cry everyday tears were like birthmark to him moreover he tried keeping himself busy in office work while kairav he used to be with gayu throughout the day in these days gayu and kairav bonded a lot . 

while it was one such day , 

manish : abhi tak nahi milli naira pata nahi kaisi hogi kahaan hogi theek bhi hogi ya nahin yeh bhi nahi pata kairav ko toh hum phir bhi sambhal rahein hain thanks to gayu but kartik he is badly missing her he is keeping himself busy but he is shattered

dadi : yeh toh tum sahi keh rahe ho manish beta voh toot gaya hain boori tarah haan maana ki usne jo kiya voh theek nahi kiya but naira voh kahaan chali gayi kaheen uske saath kuch hadsa

manish ; shubh shubh boliye maa uss din kartik ki halat hamesha mere samne aa jati hain 

flashback to that day when naira went and kartik was searching for her madly 

kartik(running on road ) : naira kahaan ho tum please aa jao naira i need you naira please aa jao mere pass i cant live without you naira i am sorry mujhe tumhein yeh sab nahi kehna chahiye tha i am so so sorry (shouting) nairaaa 

after searching for hours kartik came back to the resort and manish holded him 

manish : dekho kartik tumhein apne aap ko sambhalna hoga naira ko hum dhoondege na we have informed the police and they will search for her but please you take care of yourself because kairav needs you right now kartik 

kartik : papa mujhse bohot badi galti ho gayi papa papa kaheen naira ko kuch ho toh nahi jaayega na voh theek toh ho gi na papa ? usse kuch nahi ho na chahiye papa varna mein mar jaonga i know i did a grave mistake papa i told her to go with maa mujhe yaad rakhna chahiye tha that becaue of stress she is forgetting things becuase of taking kairav and so much of work she is forgetting things but i shouted at her so badly i told her so much 

manish : bas karo kartik calm yourself go and sleep right now kairav is with gayu she is taking care of her you go and sleep 

while saying this kartik went to his room sleep was away from his eyes he was just remembering his moments with naira and crying ....days passed like this:( 

Flashback ends 

a while later we can see kartik in his car driving to the office but his car halted and he stopped learnign that there is an issue in his car he dialed the number of a mechanic and asked him to here as soon as possible . while his sight just went through a chai ki tapri which made him reminsced his moments with naira how they used to fight , how he used to like  adhrak vali chaai only made by her and they used to eat bhutta with their romance !  he was walking to the tapri and sat there and ordered one chai he was sipping it but then he saw something which made him shocked ! 

he could see a person cycling with hair messy and clothes looked like she hasn't changed herself in weeks and the body fragile yes that person was naira . his gaze was on her the whole time the glass he was holding to drink his tea slipped out of his hands leading it to break and that's when he was brought to reality and actually found his naira but to his shocker she just went pass him and sat on the bench crying . kartik was sad upon her condition and was blaming himself but more than that he was happy happy that he found his naira now all he wanted was to lead a happy life ahead he was walking towards naira with his thoughts all these days he spent without her was hell living hell no one teased him , no one called him mendak or no one romanced him but there was only one question in his mind and that was as to why she never came back to him ? didn't she cared about kairav or him ? the thought of her bieng away killed him but yes he needed to ask her as to why she let kairav suffer although he was not at fault . 

taking steps slowly towards her tears welling up in his eyes he  put his held on naira's shoulder making her grasp when she looked at him kartik just hugged her tight while naira was startled and what she did next shocked him she pushed him hard !!
