CHAPTER 29

the chapter starts with kartik sitting beside an unconscious naira . in few minutes she will be taken for surgery that may change her life or even kartik's . while kartik couldn't process what all is happening with him and his lifeline naira but he knew one thing and that was that he has to support naira and not fall weak but destiny has other plans seeing naira pale in front of him he could not do anything but cry 

kartik : naira please promise me you won't leave me promise me naira that you will come back and won't leave me you will come back for me , for kairav its ok if you dont regain your memory we will start afresh but please naira you are my sherni na go and fight and defeat this clot its just small you can't loose naira you can't loose this time now go and fight and prove to others that you are a sherni 

later naira was taken for the surgery while kartik was near the operation theatre door stadning waiting for naira to come out . he was breaking from inside and his only hope was that his naira will come running to him and be in his arms forever .  

kartik : naira main wait kar raha hoon come fast your kartik is waiting sherni...

while inside the operation theatre naira was fighting for her life but mistakenly the injection which was bought especially for the surgery broke down leading the doctors to be in worry as to what will happen now because the injection they had it was just one dose all of them worried ...they went outside the ot and found katik questioning them about naira 

kartik : doctor surgery ho gayi naira theek hain na please kuch boliye 

doctor : mr. goenka ek problem ho gayi hain 

kartik : kya doctor ?

doctor: actually the dose of the injection it broke from us and we need it urgently 

kartik : whatt!!! there must be injections like those right?

doctor : umm that injection was in special order we have called the hospitals and they are checking but please if you can arrange it then please do otherwise the patient she wont survive . 

kartik: nahi doctor aap please naira ko baccha lijiye usse kuch nahi hona chahiye i will arrange for the injection 

doctor : we will try our best mr. goenka 

 saying this kartik just went to the nearby hospitals asking for injection while all the family was hell tensed and manish was calling doctors asking them the same . on the other side naira was breathing heavily tensing the doctors 

after 15 minutes we could see kartik coming in with a sad and crying face . he came and sat on the ground with a thudd 

kartik : mujhe injection nahi mila papa nairaa voh theek kaisi hogi !! 

before kartik could say more manish put a hand on his shoulder and told him that they had found the injection . 

manish :  kartik calm down we have found the injection and now the doctor is treating her she will be alright 

kartik : kahaan se papa who helped us where did you got the injection from?

manish : we got it from a hospital luckily they transported it at time and it reached naira ki beech mein tabiyat kharab hui thi but thank god the injection reached on time nd the doctors started the surgery again

kartik just hugged manish and cried his heart out ; 

kartik : papa naira theek toh ho jaayegi na usse kuch hoga toh nahi na voh theek toh ho jaayegi na she will come to me na papa she cant leave me all alone i wont be able to live without her papa 

manish : calm  down kartik naira theek ho jaayegi she is a sherni na please don't loose hope nothing will happen to her ....

after some time we could see the doctor coming out of the operation theatre while kartil bursted him with all his questions to which the doctor replied ; 

doctor : mr goenka calm down hamne naira ke brain se clot hata diya hain she is unconscious right now she is out of danger gladly we got the dose on time and we could save her . 

kartik : but what about her memory?

doctor : we can't say anything about that as of now it totally depends on her 

kartik : but what time will she regain consciousness ?

doctor : she will gain it we can't say when 

kartik oh okayy

the rest of the day was spent by kartik handling kairav , holding upon himself , hoping for naira to wake up and regain her memory . after few hours doctors could find movement in naira and they called everybody especially kartik everyone was surrounding her and naira was slowly opening her eyes kartik was just sitting beside her looking at her with full hope and his face became a hapier one when he heard naira mumbling kartik..while everyone was happy seeing naira mumble kartik she regained full consciousness in some time and that was the moment naira brimmed into tears and hugged kartik hard while kartik was confused (he still doesnt know naira regained her memory back he was thinking that naira knows him after she met him that day ) 

kartik : nairaa kya huaa 

naira ; i am sorry kartik i am sorry 

kartik : naira tum aise kyun bol rahi ho dekho dont cry its not good for your health right now rest karo

naira  : nahi kartik let me speak pata nahi mujhe kya ho gaya tha i couldnt just remember anything kairav ko leke bhi careless ho gayi thi i am sorry uss din hamare beech mein ladai hui  aur mein bhaag gayi mujhe pata nahi kya ho gaya tha i am sorry 

while kartik was smiling with happiness seeing that naira has remembered everything he calmed naira down and made her lay on the bed and signalled the family memebers to go outside ; 

naira : kartik tum mujhse gussa ho na i am sorry 

kartik : nahi naira i am not angry with you it was not your fault at all you had clot which made you forgot things aur yaheen baat sorry ki toh sorry mujhe kehna chahiye naira i hurted you a lot tat day pata nahi kya ho gaya tha i told you so much i am sorry naira 

naira : nahi kartik i am sorry

kartik : nahi naira i am sorry 

naira : aree maine kahaan na i am sorry 

kartik : nairaa 

naira : ek min where is kairav voh theek hain na where is he kartik?

kartik : he is fine naira ruko i will bring him 

later kartik brought kairav to naira and naira kissed him all over his face and the trio had some blissfull moments and they ended the day on a good note
