the chapter starts with naira holding kartik leg and crying
Naira:(crying)pls mat leke jao kairav ko pls main nahi reh paungi uske bina mat leke jao tumhare baad kairav ne mujhe life di kairavko mat lejao main marjaungi mere bache ke bina mat kro ais....
saying this naira fainted shocking kartik , he hurriedly put kairav in the crib and came to naira.
kartik (patting her cheeks): naira wake up , nairaa c'mon wake up , i can't live without you . pls wake up naira . kairav kairav is here with you i will not snatch him from you , please please wake up naira . i need you in my life alwaysss . pleasee see i am here , kairav is here . please wake up please please please nairaaaa !!
he took her to the hospital and took kairav also as he couldn't leave him alone . he took him in the crib placed him beside him and made naira lay on his lap and continued patting his cheeks and then aksed the driver to drive fast to the hospital...
he took her to the hospital while the nurse took kairav to the nursery as kairav was continuously crying. he sat outside the ward . he had tears in his eyes .

how kartik how could you !! what has got into you . nairaa you weree my sherni but now , is it me who made you so weak ? the naira whom people followed , is begging me holding my legs for kairav . i knew it that she would prove to be a very good mother but something has changed her .

kartik thoughts were broken when the doctor came outside the ward.
doctor : mr. goenka
kartik : jii doctor . naira kaisi hain? voh theek hain na ? usse kuch hua toh nahi na ? voh aise achanak bhayosh kaise ho gayi ?
doctor : relax mr goenka . naira is very weak . you have to take care of her especially she is a feeding mother so stress isn't good for her.
kartik : oh ok doctor can i meet her?
doctor : ya sure
kartik goes inside the ward and sat beside naira . after some time , naira started getting consciousness .
naira (murmering): kairavv ..kairavv ...mera baby mujhse chin gaya ...i will die
this all was heard by kartik and a wave of guilt passed over him . he had tears rolling down his eyes . when naira got consciuosness , she was searching for kairav but then saw kartik sitting beside kartik . she was layed on the bed and she folded her hands before kartik .
naira(crying ) : please kartik i beg you , please don't take kairav away from me , i won't be able to live without him , please don't take him away from me , please don't separate us kartik , i can't live without him he is my lifeline please kartik please .
kartik : nai naira .. i won't take him away from you , kuch nahi hoga and why are you folding your hands , it should not be you who should fold hands instead it should be me , i did not trust you or stood by you . i am sorry naira , i have realised my mistake , i am so so sorry . meri wajah se you have to face so many difficulties . just because of me . kabhi yeh khyaal aaya he nahi , ki jitna trust shubham ne tumpar kiya utna mujhpar kyun nahi kiya . kabhi yeh bhi khyaal nahi aaya ki ab shubham nahi raha , par mein tumhein dosh nahi de sakta tha. shayad us waqt se leke aaj tak ek mare hue insaan ki value ek zinda insaan se zyada kab ho gayi , pata he nahi chala .
naira : kartik tum..yeh kyun
kartik (crying): kehne do naira uss din jab tum aayi goenka villa maa ne tumhein itna kahaan itna sunaaya , thapad bhi maare par mein tumhare liye khara nahi ho paaya . tum chali gayi . tumhein nahi rok paaya . pata nahi kaisa laga hoga tumhein tumhari poori famiy ne tumhein ek baar nahi poocha in 2 saalo mein . please naira tell me where did you go after ..and when did you found out that you were pregnant
naira (crying): kartik mein ....mujhe tumhare bday ke din , i was having symptoms . i did not tell you this at that time kyunki i was not sure aur varna tumhara bday bhi spoil ho jaata. the day after your bday i went to the hospital to get the reports . they were positive !! we were pregnant ! but when i came back to goenka villa then......umm you know
kartik : par fir .. jab tum vahaan se gayi toh ?
naira : vahaan se i went to singhania sadan but no one opened the door , i went to mumbai after collecting some money from dance academy, i went to mumbai .i rented a flat. i started working in an orphanage there i met tanvi and kunal . they helped me , during check ups , for money, with kairav, everything ! even kairav started recognising them day by day. during delivery tanvi and her family was there with me and kairav was born
